The Marsh Provides {CLOSED}

Delving his claws into the soft, crumbly earth, Hollowpaw soundlessly awaited the assigned Clanmates to join his patrol.  He never missed the opportunity to provide prey for his Clan, so he sat by the entrance, gaze flickering as he scanned the daily bustle of cats. The sky had begun to dim, with the light gradually diminishing and the scruffy tom was keen on hunting. His tail twitched vaguely, for he was starting to get irritated and impatient. They had to leave soon.

Amberpaw had been assigned to the patrol and hadn't wasted a single second making her way over to Hollowpaw"hey"She mewed flicking a black ear as she sat down.

Crowfur padded up to the two apprentices and gave them big a smile. "Hello you two! Let us not waste anymore time. Follow me." The warrior then began to lead the duo out of the camp.

Eventually the patrol arrived at the warrior's favorite hunting spot. He told them to have fun but not get too far. Crowfur was now stalking a nice looking toad. After a few momemts, he quickly pounced. Unfortunately, this toad was a slippery one and it jumped away before he even reached it. "Darn!" Crowfur muttered sourly as he got up and began to look for more prey.

"Hello, Amberpaw. Greetings, Crowfur." Nodding his head in a dignified, sober manner, he promptly rose from his sitting position, eyes flashing with committed keenness. Wordlessly blinking sidewards, directed at Amberpaw, he slid his paws to trail after the warrior.

Absorbing and cherishing the moist mud, he obediently agreed to Crowfur's instructions. Heading his command, he strayed a few foxlengths away and attentively observed his surroundings. Viligant and alert, he had instantly sighted an indistinct form, shuffling and sheltered by wrangled foliage. Hollowpaw assumed the stalking position, and crept silently towards his prey, limbs evenly spaced, body low and tail in a position to evade any obstacles. His target had been confirmed to be a murky, olive-green frog. Focusing directly on his prey, he transferred all power to his hind legs, and pounced.
When the glossy figure was sensed beneath his paws, the tom swiftly dived to inflict a bite to its neck. Prideful triumphance flooding in, he immediately burrowed his catch and returned to sight and catch some more.
