Littlepaw's Warrior Ceremony

The leader was full of joy. Despite everything. Despite his issues with Windclan and what happened with Shade and Lichenmask, he could still find happiness. It was time. His dear daughter... who had been missing for moons... was finally able to become a warrior. The last survivor of his litter with Cinderpaw... was ready to join her siblings. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the willow branch for a clan meeting!" He called with bright green eyes. Soon, the silvery she-cat will appear and he will be the happiest father in the clans.

Littlepaw hearing the call flicked her ears and smiled some before she padded from where she had been laying in the apprentices den. She had groomed her fur and padded out blue eyes shining happily. Today she would be a warrior finally.

He looked at his daughter proudly and begun the ceremony lifting his feathery tail. "Littlepaw... your mentor, Finchstream has confirmed that you are ready to undertake your warrior ceremony. If you believe this to be true, step forward now for it to begin." He mewed loudly to the she-cat. She was old enough to become a warrior moons ago but now she finally finished her training with her first mentor, who was now in the nursery expecting kits. Littlepaw, despite her appearance, had proven to be a brave, strong and determined cat. She had endured a lot outside of her home but now... all of those hardships... were going to be rewarded with the greatest honour she could get in a clan.

Littlepaw blinked and smiled some stepping forward as her father asked her to. She had worked so hard to get to where she was now. moons of fighting to get home and then to earn her warrior name and it finally paid off. her blue eyes shined happily and proudly at her accomplishment and eagerness to earn her new name

The tom separated his paws a little and he raised his head slightly. With his chest puffed up and a strong voice, he talked to the apprentice in a solemn and serious way. After this... she would be no longer known as Littlepaw but as an official Riverclan warrior. "I, Jaystar, leader of Riverclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn, Littlepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!"Littlepaw mewed with a sense of certainness in her voice. She smiled tail flicking but she rained her head just a little.

"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this day forth, you will be known to all as Littlestream. Riverclan honours your perseverance and loyalty. Tonight, as per tradition says, you will hold a silent vigil, while the rest of the clan sleeps under your guard. Congratulations, my daughter. I pray Starclan always light your path back home even in the darkest night." With that, he dismissed the ceremony and joined his daughter's side to congratulate with a fatherly lick on her forehead. He purred happily and looked into her blue eyes. "Your mother must be proud of you, Littlestream."

Littlestream blinked and smiled at her new name before she looked at her father as she heard his words which brought small bit of tears in her eyes"I'm sure she is"she mewed.
