Beetlepaw's Moonstone Journey

It was early noon and a certain medicine cat was taking another apprentice to go to the Moonstone. The she-cat had a neat bundle of herbs by her paws. She originally had two but she consumed that other one. Mapleleaf had just called the young tom over so now all she had to do was wait for him. She sat their with a peaceful smile on her gentle face. Days lake these were her favorite. She enjoyed chatting with apprentices while on a journey. It gave excitement to her life.

Beetlepaw couldn't sleep. He spent all the day walking to one side to another for the moment to come and when his blue eyes gazed at the medicine cat with the herbs he rushed to her, his paws tickling by the excitement. "Mapleleaf! Hi! I've to eat those, right?" He didn't give a chance to the she-cat to answer and he picked up some of the herbs. The taste wasn't the best but he didn't say anything about it. The spotted tom swallowed them quickly and smiled, even licking the last remains of the plant between his fangs. "Can we go now, pleeeeeeaaseeeee?" He mewed with puppy eyes.

IC: "Alright, alright Beetlepaw! Let us begin the journey!" she purred playfully. The medicine cat led the apprentice out of the camp and into Thunderclan's territory to begin the trip.

The pair first walked out of Thunderclan's territory, then they passed Fourtrees, the pair soon traversed briskly through Windclan's territory, soon they quickly made their way through the Abandoned Barn, and finally, they made a beeline for the other side of the Thunderpath. All the adrenaline gave them a boost of energy to keep going and eventually they were at Mothermouth's entrance.

The Medicine cat turned to address the apprentice, "Tell me when you're ready to keep going, Beetlepaw." Eager Beetlepaw didn't really cause much trouble along the way and the medicine cat appreciated that. She loved apprentices who showed excitement but didn't misbehave.

Beetlepaw followed the medicine cat obediently, looking at everything with bright blue eyes. Everything was so different from Thunderclan's lands! Mapleleaf was a nice cat and even though she wasn't exactly the most talkative cat, he enjoyed her company. Of course, her life would never be as awesome as his. He couldn't imagine spending his days stuck in the camp treating the wounded and taking care of troublesome kits.

When they were in front of the entrance, the apprentice nodded eagerly. "Yes, I am, ma'am!" He mewed with his chest puffed up. The brave apprentice stepped into the darkness of the cave and waited for the she-cat to guide him to the Moonstone. Finally, he was going to see Starclan!
