Be More Chill, Goldeneye (Open)

Goldeneye laid still in the shadows of the camp wall, her eyes almost shut, her golden hues peaking through her eyelids at her clan-mates though to them it seemed like she was sleeping. Goldeneye was envious of her clan-mates relationships, no matter how vehemently she tried to deny it. The fact that they looked after each other, asked each other how they were doing and were just a very close community. A community that seemed to only include her when they needed her, not when they wanted her. Goldeneye was constantly soaked in their blood, their problems, so was it really too hard to ask that she didn't have to ask them how they were doing so they'd as her how she was doing? Goldeneye tucked in on herself tighter, her tail covering her muzzle.

She was protecting them, trying to curb the imminent disaster that loomed over them, one all of the clans but their higher ranks were naive too. Goldeneye looked at her paws, the uncomfortable feeling of blood clotting her fur making her grit her teeth. The only cat that seemed to care was Jaystar, and he was forced to spend as much time with her as he did, and her apprentice whom was also forced to be in her presence on the daily. She gave her all for Riverclan, why couldn`t they return it? Just a simple conversation that didn`t involve their problems for once.

Cinderfall was bored. There was nobody to talk to. Jaystar had to be busy as ever, and Crowpaw had to focus on training. He ran through a list of cats to chat with, when it hit him. Goldeneye. She had seemed lonely recently... and for as long as he lived, he realized. Busy and helpful, but still remained alone. And Chillpaw's death hit her the hardest, with Chillpaw's parents Spotfur and Smokewish being next in line.

Cinderfall first studied her to make sure she wasn't too busy for him. He walked by her, appreciating her calm herb-scent, much unlike the sharp tang of blood, though there was a faint trace of it. Goldeneye was just laying there by the edge. She seemed so... empty. Sad. Even jealous? "Are you okay, mo- Goldeneye?" The tom asked with concern. Truthfully, Goldeneye took the place as his mother, even if Tinytip or Splashwillow were more... motherly.
