Blossoms of Snow (Open, LakexSnow kits)

"There's so many of them. No wonder the kitting took forever." A rather loud voice cut through the clearing, followed shortly by the entrance of Minnowslip. Her presence made the nursery quite cramped, but due to her small stature, she made it work. The mottled brown tabby looked on with fascination at all the little kitlings, sniffing the white one that was closest to her. "So tiny, but so many. How did they all fit in you?"

Motherhood intrigued her, but also made her feel ill to think about being trapped in the nursery with squirming bodies inside her. Ugh. No way. But there was something adorable about kits with their soft milk scent, purring as they brushed up against their mother lovingly. "You're a lucky tom, Lakewhisper."

Yarrowkit listened to all around her. It was still a little overwhelming, but she could feel the warmth and love from her parents, as well as their two visitors. She began purring, ducking her head as her mother introduced her.

She studied the vole. Would she really be expected to catch things like that? And eat them? The smell was... interesting. But she really couldn't imagine preferring it to her mothers milk. Still, Snowblossom seemed to really like it.

Flurrykit had started speaking to their father. It was always back to her fur... Yarrowkit sighed. They would never hear anything interesting if they didn't ask good questions.

She jumped slightly at Minnowslip's loud voice. She looked at the new visitor wide-eyed. How many cats where there in the clan? Was it as crowded as their nursery out there?

She hoped so... the idea of a place big enough to hold all those cats was a little frightening.

Coldkit looked up at Minnowslip and pounced at her "Who are you? I'm Coldkit! And I'll be the strongest and most loyal warrior of the clan!" she meowed playfully and smiled brightly at the warrior.
