i'm sorry, i'm a weeb

hey ya'll
summer started for me a few days ago and i've found myself pretty lost on what to do
so i figured netflix would keep me occupied.
i'd rather take real recommendations from people who have actual preferences so
give me all the netflix recommendations
there's not really a specific genre that i only watch (as i watch a huge variety of shows)
but i do mainly like:

• comedy
  
• sitcoms ^
  
• heartwarming
  
• honestly any show that has a lot of lore and story
  

DO NOT recommend me:

• superhero shows
  
• super romance-y shows (i dont mind shows that have relationships ofc, but i just don't like shows that mainly focus on a bf/gf/wife/husband relationship between people)
  

here are the main shows i am currently watching/have finished:

• naruto (oh my god this series takes up so much of my time and that's why i haven't gotten started on other animes)

• voltron (please don't get too far into this if you want to say something about it as i haven't even finished season one loool)

P a l have you done Adventure Time?? I know it is a popular one, but few people watch it all the way through which needs tp happen (it is one of my favorites!).

Avatar is another good cartoon tv show. And uh I will think of more and edit later I just woke up haha

i have done adventure time, but i've been really slacking on watching on the new eps (i heard new eps were coming out??? might be wrong)
i'll add it to the list
and avatar, oh boy. though i've heard about this S O many times i still haven't gotten around to watching it. adding to the list

Stranger Things is possibly the best TV show ever, and I usually really don't like any horror shows/movies.

Unbreakably Kimmy Schmidt is a great Netflix original comedy series.

ah ^^ i watched a bit of stranger things before kind of abandoning it. i really need to jump back on that show, so ill add it

this show has taken up almost all of my time ;)
butbut
it does have quite a bit of romance since they’re all 20-something in the first seasons and then they all turn thirty, so there’s obviously gonna be some stuff there - a few references in the later shows to romance-y stuff

Now, hear me out on this, but I think you should check out My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It may seem really childish at first, but as the seasons progress there will be a lot of epic fights, plot twists, character development, world-building, lore, and of course so many mythological creatures galore! Oh, and a LOT of pony puns. XD

MLP:FiM is a great show and so is Brooklyn Nine-Nine, you definitely should watch those, I agree!!

Have you tried Riverdale or Stranger Things? Both are a bit scary (Stranger things has a few jumpscares) but Riverdale in particular has a good storyline and the episodes are like 40 minutes long which makes it easy to binge.

MLP is pretty good. It is not, no matter what anyone says, just for little girls.

i've also watched mlp. every single episode.
i wouldn't consider myself an "mlp fan" or "in the fandom" necessarily but i do enjoy the show!
i've heard about riverdale and that it's pretty good, so ill add it to the list!

i haven't watched the show 'on my block' yet, but everyone in my acting class has told me that it's a really good show.
