Owlkit falls ill

Owl kit was laying in her nest, in the nursery. She felt really warm and her eyes and nose were watery. she ended up laying her head down and falling asleep. her breath shallowed, but it wasn't weak.

rosethorn felt a warmth coming from the kit and moved away from her kits to inspect the sent and found owlkit warm and a shalow breath and started ttrying to cool the kit down.

Owlkit felt a breeze coming from somewhere, It felt good. She opened her eyes to see Rosethorn. "Wha....." She mewed, her voice trailed off because she was thirsty for water.

rosethorn kept trying to cool her off and noticed she was awake "are you ok owlkit?" she asked worryed.

"....i....." She tried to talk but it didn't come out right,"thir....." She closed her eyes and put her head back down, limply.

"owlkit?" she said panacking "owlkit?"

Owlkit stifled a sneeze. She seemed not to respond to Rosethorn's calls.

rosethorn started wailing for someone to help her "Help help someone help"

Owlkit lifted her head again, her eyes were staring at something, but she spoke to Rosethorn, "wa....t...." she dropped her head again.

rosethorn looked down at the kit and felt her nose and felt it was dry she quickly dashed out of the nursery into the medicen cats den grabed a ball of moss and dipped it into the pool then dashed back to the nusery.

Owlkit was shaking when Rose was back. owlkit seemed to be deteriorating by the minute.

rosethorn droped the moss ball and tried to get the kit to drink.

Owlkit clamped her jaws on the moss, and she sucked it dry. She sat up, still shaking a bit, and meowed, "Thanks...Rosethorn...." she lifted one of her paws and gave a small cough.

"thats fine i need you to rest ill be back in a bit." she said padding out of camp twords the Riverclan border.

Owlkit layed back down and closed her eyes. They watered some more, but she wasn't crying. and her nose burned like there were fire ants in it.
