"Oh, she's your daughter! I had no idea! Well, this is gonna make beating you and killing her much more fun!" He raked his claws down the SkyClan warrior's back as he dug his claws deeper into his shoulders.

Shadefang continued using Leap-and-Hold on Sedgestrike, dealing 9 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Anger flooded into Sedgestrike's bones. Every muscle tensed as he pushed through the pain of the claws raking his pelt and threw the sorry excuse for a warrior off of him. Without even pausing, he leapt onto the other tom's back with a battle cry. He would not lose her. He couldn't.

(OOC: Hey, do you have any idea if Play Dead would have any effect when pinned or stunned? It feels like it should, but I don't wanna cheat in case it doesn't.)

Shadefang snarled viciously and struggled underneath him. His high was beginning to crash down now that he felt contained. His brief battle against Sparrowpaw had weakened him just enough for Sedgestrike to get the drop on him, it seemed. And he was furious.

(OOC: Coincidentally that has been being debated in the C-box -you should drop by-. I'm inclined to believe it should, but Jay and Maple are voting it doesn't atm... so I guess not? )

As Sedgestrike shredded into the dark tabby pelt beneath him, he felt no mercy for the tom. His daughter was laying still on the forest floor, bleeding and injured, thanks to this tom.
"How does it feel being the one shredded" He snarled as his hindclaws raked down Shadefang's flanks with a vengeance.

Shadefang snarled in pure fury and struggled as hard as he could, but he just wasn’t strong enough to fight the protective father off him. He was livid at himself. He had had the perfect opportunity to kill again, but because he waited too long — because he toyed with his prey — he lost his catch. He glared up at Sedgestrike. ”Oh, don’t you worry... I’ll get you someday... You and your precious little daughter... RiverClan will be the strongest Clan in the forest, and you will all bow to me, Shadestar, leader of the greatest Clan in the forest!”

The silver tom's body trembled as he restrained himself. He wanted nothing more than to rip this sorry tom's throat out.
"Give me a reason not to kill you right now, so you never have that chance." Sedgestrike mewed seriously, the mere thought of this tom ever becoming leader was terrifying... he'd have to keep an eye out for him. As it was, his claws tightened. True SkyClan cats didn't kill, but it was terribly tempting. A hiss rose from his throat as he slashed once more at Shadefang's shoulders before grabbing the tom by the scruff and throwing him aside. "GET LOST!" He yowled commandingly. His entire posture screamed of promised pain and potentially death if the other tom dared to stick around. He only relaxed when he turned to Sparrowpaw's prone body. His green eyes softened, and he gently nudged her. The cold wetness of her fur made him choke a breath. She was still alive, but if she kept bleeding like this... he swallowed his pride. Gently, he picked her up by the scruff and attempted to position her across his back, with her scruff in his jaws to safely carry her home.

Shadefang winced at the final scratch to his shoulder. He struggled to his paws, feeling terribly worn from battle, but he still managed to shoot Sedgestrike an evil grin through narrowed eyes before racing back into his own territory.
