A 'Hopping' Good Time (Closed Patrol)

The sun had just set, it's dying rays of red and gold slowly starting to fade as Ryeheart crossed the clearing at a hurried pace, catching up to his young apprentice Ospreypaw before he retreated into his den.  His smile only slightly forced, the ginger tabby tom purred; "Hey Ospreypaw, you able to stay on your paws for a bit longer?"  Not waiting for an answer, he pushed on, hoping his idea would energize the apprentice even if he was tired.  "I was thinking we could go frog hunting; you can hear their croaking all the way from here, it would be a waste to pass that up."  It was true; the low sounds of bullfrogs radiated from deep within the marshes, and the sound alone made Ryeheart's stomach rumble temptingly.
