To be or not to be (Closed for Lux and Pika)

Goldeneye had left the den as soon as Ivystar dismissed her to fetch Batfang, her belly falling down a bottomless pit as the seriousness of the situation leached into her calm facade. Goldeneye padded towards the warrior's den, a gust of cold wind ruffling the she-cats pelt as she glowered down at the tom who was to rise soon. The golden she-cat felt horrible for Tinytip, her lover had betrayed her love and trust, but now he was paying the price.

Ivystar wasn't one to take the easiest most peaceful or neutral route, but she did what she believed was best for her clan, and as her medicine cat she would follow her leader's decision without hesitation. "Batfang. Get up. Ivystar requests your audience by the river. You have plenty of explaining to do." Her meow hard and cold as she turned on her paws and led the tom out of the warrior's den and towards the raging river, where Ivystar was waiting.

The charcoal warrior opened his eyes when he heard the call of the medicine cat. Batfang blinked, surprised and annoyed at first but when Goldeneye mentioned Ivystar, the tom's expression changed to a more serious one and he stood up from his nest obediently, giving his mate a last glare to check if she was okay before leaving the den. He didn't know exactly why his leader requested his presence but Ivystar's words were law and he wasn't the one to fight against.

He did not say a word to the plump medicine cat during the whole trip. Instead, he stayed quiet until his eyes found the figure of the Riverclan leader. Batfang walked to her with an emotionless face and bowed his head respectfully. "Evening, Ivystar. Why did you need me for?"
