What are the duties of a medicine cat : to heal and provide consolation for your Clanmates. they also receive visions and guidance from StarClan. they are the cat the Clan turns to in times of need, along with the leader. they are the closest to their starry ancestors. they are forbidden to have mates or kits. they are bound to help all cats, regardless of whether they are in the same clan. they are generally the peacekeepers and they care for almost all cats, no matter what they have done.
What you would do with this position : i would exit the pit of inactivity and would check the forums everyday. i would improve the quality of my posts. also, i would try my hardest to get goose into as many topics of healing and advice as physically possible. i would attend the medicine cat meetings every time and with posts of considerate length, to the best of my ability. i would check the medicine den regularly and keep up to date with clan news.
Why you think you deserve this position : goosekit is a quiet, scared, insecure boye who doesn’t think he can do anything, so this might boost his confidence a little. the fact that he is terrified to lift a claw against anything might explain his extremely poor hunting and fighting skills. by becoming the medicine cat apprentice, he can find a place where he belongs. also, he was the product of a forbidden romance - the crusty one, no less.
me personally, i think my role-playing skills have improved massively since i first joined. my activity is increasing quite a bit now and i am observant, meaning i will almost always find the topics where goosekit would be needed. this also frees me up to write longer, more complex posts than i would have done a week ago.
