Sandpaws Hunt

Sandpaw did as he was told, nearly stepping on three leaves, until he was a tail length away. He looked over at Sleepyyawn.

"Now, step forward and snap its neck quick!" He hissed, trying to be as silent as possible.

OOC: Roll the chance dice. 1-4 miss. 5-6 kill.

Sandpaw pounced onto the spot where the shrew was, hoping to capture it. He did and snapped its neck quickly as he was instructed.

The member 'Sandpaw' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Chance Dice' : 6

"Nice catch!" He walked over to Sandpaw. "We always honor our fresh kill, because without them we would die off." He congratulated Sandpaw, and began to bury his kill. "Now, its time to fish. Which is much easier for us."

Sandpaw nodded. "Alright!" He ran over to the water and gazed down. He saw many fish of different sizes swim along.

"So, all you have to do is stand at an angle where your shadow wont cast over the water. Then, when a fish gets close enough into paws reach, pull it to land and kill it." He instructed.


OOC: 1-2 Miss, 3-6 Kill.

Sandpaw did as instructed. He waited for a big looking fish to swim by and scoped his paw in the water to get it onto the embankment. It hit onto the shore and flipped around a bit. Sandpaw killed it with a swift blow from his paw.

"Your a way better hunter then me." Sleepyyawn noted. And it was true. If Bluestar hadnt been sympathetic, he would have failed his assesment, and he would still be Sleepypaw.

"It's just luck." Sandpaw told him.

"Heh, I doubt it. Your a natural warrior." Sleepyyawn complimented.

"Well. I am older than most apprentices." Sandpaw sighed. "Way older."

"Dont worry. I was a kit for a long time. Imagine me, 8 moons old, and playing in the nursery." Sleepyyawn laughed at the memory. "Besides, by tomorrow after your battle training I'll tell Bluestar about your ceremony."

"But I still need my assessment before any ceremony is to happen." Sandpaw said.
