Solo Hunting

Stormpaw decided to go hunting alone because he's not very smart. So that's what he did. He went hunting.

He hunted and caught a large fish. Proud of himself, Stormpaw decided to make a pile of all the fish he caught. Hopefully no predator came to steal his prey! That would be bad. Then he'd have to fight it. Hopefully if he did have to fight something he'd become a warrior because of his bravery or something.

Then, Stormpaw caught another, smaller golden fish. With a proud purr, the stormy gray tom placed the fish on his growing pile. How proud would Jaystream be when he discovered what Stormpaw had done? Although the last time the apprentice had done something without his father's permission he had gotten a less-than-satisfactory reaction, this time would be different. He was an apprentice now, after all. He could handle it!

Stormpaw caught yet another fish, silver like the first. What luck! "I sure am lucky!" He mewed, placing the fish on the pile. "I hope a predator doesn't smell all these great fresh fish and come attack me. That sure would be bad! I'm a poor, defenseless apprentice all alone. I've never fought anything before."

Then, Stormpaw turned and... WOW! ANOTHER FISH! THIS IS GREAT! he turned and put it on the pile before going back to the stream, all his attention focused on the prey instead of what could be approaching him, about to attack.

Stormpaw caught a rainbow fish. So lucky! The apprentice decided that he would keep going, even if he had to make multiple trips or sing a song and get his magical forest friends to help him carry all his lucky catches home. He sure was glad there weren't any predators around.
