By His Lonesome {Open for Jade}

Rarely did Ridgekit stray from the nursery, but today was not one of those days. He decided to go and explore the camp, something he had never done before. Slowly he stepped outside, gazing at the area around him. Ridgekit padded across the camp, eyes affixed to the ground. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going and collided directly with a full grown cat.

Blossomheart stopped and looked down. It was Ridgekit. She smiled. "Hi!" She said. "Exploring camp? Can't do it well with your eyes cast down all the time."

Ridgekit sat there for a moment while Blossomheart spoke. "I guess you aren't wrong about that.." He said quietly, his eyes focused on hers. He wasn't used to being so friendly with other cats, so it was strange for him to be making eye contact.

Blossomheart thought about this. "I could help you explore. Like, that's the Tallbranch, and that is Cr- Rippedstar's den."

A little smile spread across his face. "That would be nice" He said, his soft voice a little shaky from nerves.
