Another One Bites the Dust[OPEN]

Willowpaw pulled the dead she-cat into camp. "Windclan, come quick! Something terrible has happened! Frostfeather is dead!" He wailed.

Acornpaw snapped her head up as the horrendous words were yowled throughout the camp. 
"My mother? DEAD?!" 
Acornpaw raced up to Willowpaw and Frostfeather's body, nearly knocking her over. Looking down at her mother, her eyes clouded with grief and her whole body trembled with shock. The look of pain was still planted onto the white she-cat's face, which only made it much more worse for Acornpaw. Not trying to hold back, Acornpaw let out a loud wail of grief, sobbing into her mother's snowy pelt. Just the other day Acornpaw had tried to comfort Frostfeather, and now she was dead. She curled up against Frostfeather while her fur was still warm. She refused to believe that this cat would have to buried tonight.

OOC: Ehh, sorry for the crappy post. I'm not very good at dramatic scenes.

(It wasn't crappy that moved me it made my cry)

Elmpaw heard the commotion and stirred in the apprentices' den, then carefully rose to his paws. Another cat dead? There had been an awful lot of death around lately, it made his mind and heart heavy. He didn't know Frostfeather well but he limped out into the clearing to pay his respects anyway.

He stood a few pawsteps away from Acornpaw, Willowpaw, and Frostfeather's body, letting the grieving she-cat have her space. He felt like he needed to do something, though. After a few moments he inched closer, gently touching his fellow apprentice with his nose in what he hoped was a comforting way. "I'm so sorry for your loss," he mewed quietly, not sure what he should say. "The clan lost a great cat today....Uh, Acornpaw, I know we don't...really know each other well, but if...if you need anything, I'm...here."

He paused again, looking over at Willowpaw. "Uh, you too..." he added, pinning his ears back uncomfortably. He really wasn't good at socializing, let alone comforting grieving cats.

Willowpaw looked down at the body then up at Elmpaw. "I'm fine, just a little... stunned, I guess... I can't believe it... I'm here too, Acornpaw." He wasn't ready for this. "I never knew my own mother before she died. My only consolation is that I know I'll see her in Starclan. And you'll see Frostfeather there too."

Shadepaw heard a wail from her brother and quickly rushed to his side. She was worried something had happened to him. She sighed a sigh of relief and turned around to see frostfeathers limp body on the grond. She stared wide eyed as Acornpaw  crouched over her mother. She walked up to Acornpaw "Acornpaw, I'm so sorry" She said. "Were all here for you," She looked around at the crowd of cats as she said so. She knew words wouldn't be enough. You can't stop grief. You have to go through it. It's better to haven't known your parents than have to see them dead She thought. She'd always stayed close to her sibiling because of that fact, but this wasn't about her. It was about Frostfeather. She hadn't known Acornpaw well, but she crouched beside her, trying to comfort her.
