Ghostkit reveals her eyes

Ghostkit woke up early one morning while her mother was still awake. She opened her eyes for the first time and took in the sights of the nursery.

"You've opened your eyes!" Tigerfrost meowed happily. She licked her kit on the star. "Your eyes are beautiful..." she mewed softly. "One mine, and one your fathers..." she smiled.

Ghostkit smiled. She nuzzled her mother. "Momma...?" Ghostkit asked.

"Yes, sweety. I'm Momma. Tigerfrost." she smiled.

"Um... Can I tell you something?"

Moonsage walked in the Nursery to check on Tigerfrost. Yellowkit hadn't open her eyes yet.. But Ghostkit had. "What.. odd eyes she has." He noted.

"Are you Moonsage?" Ghostkit asked.

He mewed, "Why, yes. That would be me."

"A cat told me about you. In my dreams."

Moonsage looked confused. "Pardon?"

"Brightfire! She told me how nice you were. And about your moon over your eye." Ghostkit mewed.

"Well, look at that. We match," He said, notifying her star eye. He didn't know if she was aware of it, though.

"She also told me she gave me my star. She said she saved me because I was going to die." Ghostkit smiled. "I wish Brightfire was here. She's nice in my dreams."

"Yeah. I wish Brightfire was here too." He glared at Tigerfrost.

"She said she misses you Moonsage. She's also sorry she hasn't visited you yet." Ghostkit looked down. "What happened to Brightfire?"
