A muddy night

Nightkit leaped out of the nursery, not waiting for mudkit. It was past moonhigh on a cold New-leaf night and Nightkit was going out to play with her brother Mudkit. They had been in the nursery all day and were excited to get out and play. "Come on!" She mewed to the brown tom." Lets go!"

(Did you see my sig yosh did it's awesome)

He moaned then woke up. He walked slowly after his sister. "Im up I'm up but why do we have to play at night?" mudkit asked yawning.

(I requested his apprentice ceremony btw)

(OOC: Yeah i saw it she did AWESOME!)

"Because, its boring in the nursery at night!" Forestkit replied to Mudkit. She always liked to play, for she was an energetic kit. She playfully pranced around Mudkit, waiting for him to pounce on her.

(OOC: I'm getting nightkit apprenticed right now)

He hissed and pounced on her. "we should explore, I hear everything is better at night." she said with a fake evil voice.

"Yeah, Exploring is the best!" Forestkit said from underneath Mudkit. She scrabbled to her feat and looked around camp as if she were looking where to first cause mischief.

He looked out the entrance. "how about we head outside." he said swishing his tail the way he does when he wants to go on an adventure.

"Ok!" Nightkit said excitedly. All she wanted to do is to run outside and Zoom around camp. She wanted to see everything. She padded to the entrance of the nursery, looking around camp once more.

Mudkit knew she didn't know what he meant but he didn't mind. He walked out of the nursery and smiled at the big land. He decided to explore the food pile first before going to where no kit has gone before. He walked towards the pile.

Nightkit saw Mudkit walk towards the Fresh-Kill pile and she was immediately interested. She walked up behind him and stopped at the pile to sniff the delicious aromas coming from it. " You wanna try some?" She asked him.

He looked at her. "I'm not old enough yet." she said smiling then looked at the camp entrance. He wondered what was out there a d if they where as scary as cats said.

Nightkit really wanted to try the fresh kill, but she too knew that they were too young. She then went to explore somewhere. She listened to make sure none of the apprentices were awake, and she peeked inside. I will soon be sleeping in there She thought proudly.

Mudkit sneaked past his sister and walked outside of camp.

(Let's add jade(spot/daddy) for some drama. Spotfur can notice his kids playing then sees mudkit leave)

Spotfur heard shuffling and hushed voices and stirred in his nest. What was going on? Surely nothing was wrong... but it never hurt to check. So he carefully stepped out of the Warriors' den and as his eyes adjusted, watched a familiar brown tail swish out of camp. Kits were sneaky, all right. So he dropped to the ground to creep after his son. Perhaps he could have some fun tonight and scare Mudkit.

Forestkit saw her father sneaking to the den entrance. Did he see something? She wondered. She looked around to see if mudkit knew what it was. Where is mudkit? She asked herself. She hoped he didn't leave camp. That might be what her father was stalking. She than began to stalk her father, hoping he wouldn't hear her footsteps.

Mudkit looked at the big forest in front if him while he walked. There was the sound of a crow and mudkit jumped then remembered that it was just a bird. He walked on not knowing he was going toward the river.
