He quickly got back to her while he unsheated his claws feeling the urge to swipe her across the muzzled but stopped himself from doing it. He just grabbed Sootpaw by the scruff "Where should we bury him then?" he mumbled through the fur and glanced at her. He hadn't spent as much time with Sootpaw as he would like to and he knew that Thornpaw knew Sootpaw better than he did.

Thornpaw shook her head, choking out her next words through the grief. "He needs to get back to camp first... We'll think about where to b... bury him later." The she-cat began to take a step forward towards the direction of Shadowclan camp, but almost immediately stumbled. She had lost too much blood. Yet still she soldiered on, making her way back to camp on wobbly paws and toting a broken heart.
