The fun of exploring.

Shadekit ran out of the nursery, not waiting for her den mates to follow. She couldn't wait to meet her clan. She was always happy to make friends, so she was extremely excited to see new people.

"O-oh...?" A voice whispered, and soon enough there was a lean warrior at Shadekit's side. "Oh... y-you don't see mice around h-here that often... usually, I prefer rabbits... but this mouse l-looks mighty tasty." Softbreeze murmured, poking at Shadekit with a large paw. Only the twitching of his whiskers betrayed the fact that he was teasing her.

Sweetkit crept out of the nursery behind her sister, padding forward as slowly and silently as possible. Hearing warrior before her call her sister a mouse Sweetkit giggled to herself and spoke in a whispered tone. "Yes, I shall catch the giant tastey mouse." Wiggling her butt in the air as she prepared Sweetkit let out a loud shout of excitement and leapt forward. Sadly, forgetting to focus on her target and instead of pouncing ontop of Shadekit she crashed into the warrior.

Popping into a sitting position on top of the warrior Sweetkit shook her head with a groan.

Shadekit smiled at the warriors tease. She was about to ask her name, but before Shadekit could Sweetkit had pounced on the warrior.

Softbreeze gasped, quickly checking over the small kit. "A-are you okay? You didn't hurt yourself, d-did you?" He mewed frantically, sniffing all over her body to check for bumps or bruises.

Sweetkit paused, seeming to assess herself for injuries before giggling and shaking her head. "Nope! All good! Sorry, I'm kinda clumsy. Sweetkit giggled again and hopped in place a bit. "You seem nice! Can we all play a game?" Sweetkit looked between her sister and the warrior excitedly.

Softbreeze smiled, relieved that the kitten hadn't been hurt. "Y-yes, I think that would be fun..." The pale warrior looked between the two kittens. "What would you two l-like to play?"

Shadekit always loved to play games, and it was never hard to know her favorite one. She pounced on Sweetkit and screeched, " I, Shadestar will defeat your clan with ease!"

Sweetkit gasped in shock before breaking out in a fit of giggles. "You will never defeat my clan Shadestar! I, Sweetstar will never allow it! Sweetkit giggled again as she batted at "Shadestar's" ear.

Shadekit escaped sweetkits attack and started running in circles around her, taking advantage of the fact that she was clumsy.

(OOC: I just realized that sweetkit is having her apprentice ceremony, should we stop this topic?)

IC: Sweetkit spun quickly, trying to keep her gaze on Shadekit, but after a dozen full circle spins she stumbled to the side as she lost her balance. "W-whoa..." As the ground tilted this way and that Sweetkit stumbled a zig-zagged path as she tried to put Shadekit back in front of her, really only managing to walk further away from the other kit.

Shadekit stopped spinning in circles, to stop and see if sweetkit was okay. "Are you alright?" She asked, helping her keep her balance.

Sweetkit, though still dizzy, nodded and giggled. "Yeah!" Sweetkit waited a moment as she regained her balance before giggling again. "Let's play another game! Tag, your it!" Sweetkit poked Shadekit before taking off across camp.
