Newtface couldn't help but smile with satisfaction as he heard the small thud after Heatherpetal's chin hit the hard, black path. He immediately decided to take advantage of the dazed state she was in. Silently yet harshly, the speckled tom unsheathed his claws and swiped at the back of the ThunderClan cat's head.

She panted heavily as she staggered to her paws, blood dripping from her wounds that hadn't scabbed yet, and she glared down furiously at the defeated tom. "Tell Firestone... that he will regret everything he has done. Tell that piece of fox-dung that I will make sure he pays for siding with my murderous mother, after all that she's done to me! Tell Firestone that he will pay for what he has said to me!"
