at the beginning of the school year, i had this plastic spider
and every day for like 2 weeks i pranked one of my friends who has severe arachnophobia

once, my ex tried that on me while we were dating. i actually punched him, because you do not play on people's fears in the middle of a high-stress day. maaaaybe throwing it on the roof was too far, but i can't say i wouldn't have done the exact same thing. my ex hasn't done anything playing around with my arachnophobia since (thankfully, because... i freeze up and can't think clearly when i see spiders. sorry ruska but i wanna set your signature on f i r e.)

I'm scared of the weirdest things tbh
murky water (literally any murky/dark water where it's kinda hard to see. It can be ankle-deep, in a swimming pool at night, swimming in the ocean, whatever) will make me f r e a k. There could be anything in there, just waiting to drag you down or... oof it's enough to make me screech like a dying squeaky toy from hell

weirdly enough my only Big Fears (that i'm ever actually confronted with) are bugs/arachnids, being up close w/ crabs n lobsters(pictures/being at a distance? coolio), and dead fish. that last one makes navigating unfamiliar grocery stores a living death, and people tend to treat the bug/arachnid thing as a joke, so... i don't talk about my fears much.

(the bug stuff is well-founded in my life through a series of stories i'm sure most of this website Does Not want to hear.)

live fish are cool though. including sharks! got to pet one once at an aquarium. they're good fish and trying their best <3

Actually, Drippy (or currently sahhh dude), I'm also scared of bodies of water that are too murky for me to see what's inside for the exact same reasons you mentioned. I don't think my fear is as bad as yours, but it definitely exists. I'm mostly scared of the ocean and lakes. Those pics you posted really scared me. I don't think I'm going to be swimming in the ocean anytime soon.

My biggest physical fear is Crane Flies. It doesn't help that my mom's family calls them mosquito hawks. They look like giant mosquitos the size of my palm and I don't understand how nobody else hates them. I mean, they are actually harmless and my mom told me they eat mosquitos, so that should make them my friend, but I still frickin hate them. But if they die I get sad.
That fear was caused by how when I was little I was using the bathroom at home, and in between me and the door was a crane fly. I was barefoot. I tried to lean over it to open the door, and it started buzzing and moving around. I screamed, and my dad came and saved me.

I'm also scared of bathrooms don't judge me.
