Snowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, regardless of her mood thanks to the recent events, ceremonies should still be a priority “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Snowkit was an early bird. He heard the leader call out from the highrock. 'What is the meeting this time?' He padded, then sat down below the highrock waiting for the leader's announcement curiously.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Snowkit, please, step forward” Blizzardstar waited for the apprentice to do as he was told before speaking again “Snowkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Snowpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Swoopnose. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Snowkit stood beneath the highrock. He froze when he heard the leader call his name. He came towards the leader. He would become an apprentice. Snowpaw trembled but with energy and happiness flowing through him. He looked across camp to find his mentor 'Swoopnose'. "Swoopnose? Snowpaw's mentor?" he called, hoping the warrior would answer back.

Swoopnose enjoyed watching ceremonies, seeing other cats reach new stages in their life. It was beautiful. But as Blizzedstar assigned him to mentor the newly named Snowpaw. His draw dropped slightly. What was going on? It had only been a few days since he became a warrior, and he already had an apprentice? It didn't make sense. However, he did step forward and start walking towards his new apprentice, green eyes anxious. This was just another new friend, and that was a good thing. The young warrior smiled at the younger tom's question. His pace sped up a little bit and he arrived in front of him. After touching noses, he answered. "That's me. Training starts tomorrow. Meet me at the prey pile at dawn. I"m looking forward to training you, and I hope we can be friends."

As Snowpaw kept calling her mentor, he sensed some other cat behind him. A cat bigger than him, a warrior. "Hello Swoopnose!" he greeted cheerfully, "Nice to meet you." He touched noses with his mentor. 'Training starts tomorrow, huh?' he thought. Snowpaw had heard many apprentices complain about training because of waking up early, which was not a problem for him since he was an early bird. The only thing he was nervous about was the assessment. He shook off those scary thoughts and skipped, not towards the nursery but towards the apprentices' den.
