The Soft Song The Thunder Plays(open)

It was early morning,probably earlier then a kit should be up. Though she woke up non the less the light gray fluff ball poked her head up out of her mother's soft dusty gray pelt her small bright blue eyes looking around the nursery. With a small flick of her fluffy dark grayish ear,she made her way from her mother's nest and out the nursery. Once outside the young she cat sat looking around in awe of the camp with it being her first time out of the nursery. Young Softkit looked to the sky as the sun pulled up over the treeline.

Bump

Whitepaw shook her pelt out and readied herself to go on a patrol. When she saw a small movement from around the nursery's entrance. Focusing in on the moving ball of fluff, she recognized it to be a kit. "What are you doing up so early, little one?" Whitepaw laid down close to where the gray kit was bustling around.

Softkit didn't expect to hear a voice but when she did she jumped in surprise and looked to the cat. An apprentice she thought at least. "I wanted to see the camp"She mewed softly as it was that was how she always spoke."are you an apprentice?"

Snowkit was in the nursery, snuggling with his foster mother Daisyheart and little sister, Quillkit. He just couldn't sleep. He wanted to make friends in Thunderclan. He wriggled out from the nursery and skipped happily towards the center of the camp. He looked at his sides and noticed two cats talking to each other. One was the same size as him and other was slightly larger.

Snowkit padded towards the two cats. "Hey there, I'm Snowkit!" he greeted them cheerfully, "How 'bout you?"

(I don't mind)

Softkit seemed to blink in a bit of surprise as she heard another kit before she gave a small smile"Hi I'm Softkit"The silvery gray with other gray markings mewed in a soft spoken voice.

"Why yes I am, but in a moon or so I will be a warrior." She smiled at the little cat. "I remember wanting to leave the nursery as soon as I could." She understood where the kit was coming from, wanting to explore camp and all. She looked at the other kit, who had joined them, and felt a longing. She couldn't wait to become a warrior, just so she could head to the nursery soon after. Of course she wanted to become a warrior to defend her clan, but more than anything being a mother was what she hoped StarClan had in mind for her.

Snowkit looked at the larger cat. "Who are you?" he asked, "I'm Snowkit!" He wondered why this cat was larger then Softkit and him. Snowkit jumped when he heard 'warrior'. "That's really cool!" he squealed, "I'm about to become an apprentice really soon!"

"My name is Whitepaw. It's nice to meet you Snowkit and Softkit." She loved seeing the excitement in their movements, she remembered when she held all that energy. As an apprentice her energy was not completely gone, but it was more of a rarity. "What are you looking forward to learning first?" She looked at both of the kits. "When you are apprentices, of course."
