Cardinalkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Cardinalkit walked out of the nursery, quite excited for an apprentice ceremony. It's my ceremony, right? It will absolutely be my ceremony! he thought to himself.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Cardinalkit, please, step forward” She waited until the kit had stepped forward before continuing “Cardinalkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Cardinalpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Leafstorm. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

A large, fluffy brown tom stepped forward, his bright green eyes flashing. Leafstorm shot Blizzardstar a quick, curious glance. Two apprentices? He must've been doing something right...
He purred, bending his head down to meet Cardinalpaw's nose with his own. "I look forward to training with you," Leafstorm mewed cheerfully, sizing up the young tom. "Training starts bright and early tomorrow; we'll see if Whitepaw's up for any hunting training."
