| "Let all cats old enough to hunt their own prey, gather beneath the willow branch for a clan meeting." He held up his tail as he tried to catch the attention of his fellow clanmates. Somehow, these ceremonies were getting kind of a routine and he didn't feel so nervous like when he started his work as a deputy. Maybe it wasn't bad at all that he was now giving announcements so many times. | "Heronkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and now it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now on you will be known as Heronpaw until the day you're ready to become a warrior. Your mentor will be me." The warrior hopped down from the willow branch and approached the young tom with a serious but kind smile. The deputy touched noses with his new apprentice and then stepped back to see him at the eyes. "Training will start tomorrow at dawn. Don't be late, please."
