Sharpen Your Claws, Its Time For War [Important, Sunningrocks War]

Thistlepaw sat several tail-lengths behind Specklefang, finding herself seeking out the comfort of her mother's companionship to combat both the cold and the disastrous news that Blizzardstar had brought to them. The mention of war made her practically empty belly roil in fear- to the point where she had to keep her muzzle tightly closed to refrain from growing ill. The fluffy tabby remained huddled close to the cold ground beneath her paws as she listened to the voices of her Clanmates, all eager to voice their own opinions over the situation. How could they...be so eager for a situation such as this? Didn't they realize that they were being pushed towards this option as a last resort? The apprentice's eyes grew wide as she watched her mother stiffly exit camp, but she made no move to go after Specklefang.

"For ThunderClan..." Thistlepaw softly echoed, partly to herself, unable to keep out the hesitation and doubt from her weak voice.

Maplepaw had been sitting outside of the medicine cat's den. Her heart pounding and the cries of fighting cats roaring in her ears. She had barely begun to train under Honeyspark but she would do anything to keep her clanmates alive and well. She looked over at Honeyspark with pleading eyes. Eyes that asked for assisstance. Eyes that pleaded for this war to never begin. She knew this was the only way but in her pounding heart, she didn't feel like this could end well. She watched Specklefang walk out. Her eyes softened. There was so much at stake. Families could lose loved ones. There will be many injuries, some grave and some minor, that she and Honeyspark were going to tend to. She sighed and walked back into the den, mind still racing with terrible thoughts of what was to come.

Honeyspark listened her warm eyes held sadness for a moment at the many lives that would be lost or those injured in this fight. She flatter her ears ever so slightly before she had looked to her apprentice as she went back into their den. She then followed suit once the announcement was over
