Liliacpaw's 1st Training W/ Mr. Grump

If anyone asked, Willowflight was not nervous. He doesn't get nervous. Not even if he's training an apprentice right after he's become a warrior. There's nothing that will go wrong if he's the one training someone. His apprentice is going to become the greatest warrior in the clan- being trained by him will guarantee the little squirt that for sure. Never-mind that he woke up late for his first day of mentoring, that's just him asserting his character as someone who's going to do things his way unlike the rest of the mouse-brains running around in the clan.

Busy giving himself excuses for waking up at sun-high, Willowflight almost didn't notice where his paws were taking him until he found himself in front of the tiny den that he had been forced to sleep in for moons after he was too big for it- the apprentice den. His heart started to thud, paws tingling with the urge to cuff someone or run far, far away. Irritation at himself rose through his chest. 'Get going you piece of fox-dung,' Willowflight inwardly scolded himself, 'You got an apprentice to train!'

A thrum of anger made him jerk his head into the den, scanning the dwelling for his apprentice. The sunlight filtering through slivers of branches gave a familiar dim lighting to the place. Recognizing Liliacpaw's form curled up on one of the bedding pressed against the wall far from the center, he ducked into the den and butted his head against her side. "Hey," he meowed a little harshly. "Get up."

The light sandy tabby with black and white legs and tail opened her yellow green eyes as she looked up to her mentor who spoke to her a bit harshly. She gave a blink"sorry....did I oversleep?"She asked as she sat up with a small stretch.
