We won't go easy on you next time!

Another border patrol. At least Laurelsong is with me this time. Silentstrike despised border patrols. He'd rather be running around chasing rabbits and hunting for his clan, but he was a warrior, and this was his duty. He always seemed to find something positive, and this time it was Laurelsong. They hadn't spoken much since she had become a warrior, and he decided then that that was a problem, and he would fix it. "Hey, Laurelsong. Anything interesting happening lately?" He didn't really know what to say, so that seemed like a nice start.

OOC: After the everyone in the WC patrol posts one whole round, the Shadowclanners can also post one whole round. After that, the patrols can meet up at the Thunderpath, and then we can go from there :D

Also, please use posting order, it makes things so much easier~

Fernpaw followed close behind the other three cats on the patrol, bouncing around excitedly in the snow and sending little specks of white flying in every direction. She purred and meowed playfully like a kit.

Laurelsong padded along with the rest of the small patrol, gazing around with slightly bored eyes at the emerging Thunderpath, and the pines of ShadowClan's marshy territory beyond.  Though she loved being a warrior, some jobs that needed to be performed had a habit of growing boring, border patrols being one of them.  If only there could be a bit more action...  At the sound of her father's voice, she looked over at him and smiled.  "Hmmm...nothing much, unless you count this patrol as interesting."  With a chuckle, she glanced behind her quickly to make sure Fernpaw was keeping up alright, before turning back to Silentstrike.  "How about you, dad?"

IC: Swiftstep let out a small sigh. He had a content smile on his face. The tom liked patroling because it gave him time to think and possibly bond with his clan-mates. He began to stray a bit away as he looked around. He wished he could be as close to his mother like Laurelsong and Silentstrike were. He did love Spiderfang with all his being but they never really bonded.
