Whitekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Willow Branch for a clan meeting!" Ivystar yowled for the whole clan to hear. Another kit was finally ready to undertake the task of becoming a fully fledged member of the clan, it brought much joy to her to see RiverClan flourishing like this despite the incoming chill of Leafbare.

Whitekit joined the rest of the clan under the Willow Branch, practically beaming with excitement. He was finally 6 moons old and would be an apprentice starting today! He couldn't help but wonder what his mentor would be like.

"Whitekit, you have finally reached the age of six moons and therefore you are ready to undertake the responsibilities of an apprentice. From now on, you will be known to the clan as Whitepaw. Your mentor will be Amberpelt. She is a seasoned warrior who will teach you much. I trust she will lead you well." She leapt down from her perch to allow the newly named Whitepaw to approach and nudge her shoulder in a respectful manner. She also meowed in a much softer manner to Amberpelt. "I'm aware that you have another apprentice in Snowpaw, but I know you will be fine, Amber."
