Droplet (loner)

A silver spotted she-cat circled a tree before scrambling up, her fur fluffed out against the wind. She was 6 moons old and barely out of kithood. She had heard from other loners that there are clans who cared provided for each other, and she desperately wanted to be part of a group. Droplet settled down on a branch and dozed off, hoping a clan cat would find her.

Leafstorm flicked his tail as he padded through the forest, his tufted ears constantly swiveling in search of prey. He had come into the forest to be alone- it was almost impossible to have peace and quiet in camp during Leaffall. Everyone was bustling, trying to prepare for the even colder moons ahead. And speaking of cold...
Leafstorm shivered slightly despite his fluffy fur, craning his neck into the trees above hopefully for any squirrels or birds. All prey was good prey.
"Hullo..."
That certainly wasn't prey.
"Hello? My name is Leafstorm."" He called, his green eyes focused on the small gray blob above him. "Can you come down?"
the figure was small- definitely not full grown -so there was no need to be hostile yet.

Droplet slithered down the branch and lowered her head to Leafstorm. "My name is Droplet, I wish to join your clan."
She quickly gave herself a few licks to clear her fur of fallen leaves and twigs. In the filtered light of the forest, her silvery pelt glowed faintly. Barely out of kithood still with a few tufts of fluff, the young loner looked tiny next to the full grown warrior.

Leafstorm's ears twitched in amusement as the little thing tumbled down beside him and announced her name. He was used to odd loner names by now, so 'Droplet' didn't faze him as much.
But her desire to join Thunderclan...
"First thing's first, Drop-Let," He mewed, a faint hint of concern in his voice. "What about your family? You're barely old enough to leave your mother, let alone come searching for the fabled clans."

Droplet shook her self out indignantly, then snorted at the mention of her parents.
" I have no family. My mother is dead, I've never know my father, all my littermates were born dead. I've been alone by myself for a whole moon now." Determination edged her mew, and there was a hard glint in her eyes. "I've heard from others that you guys take care of other members of your clan, and I've heard all about Starclan."

Leafstorm flicked his tail. The little scrap knew quite a bit about the clan's ways. Not only that, but her mother and father were gone.
He had no choice- he'd take her to Blizzardstar, if only to find out where Drop-Let had gotten all the information on Thunderclan from.

"Okay, follow me," He began to pad through the forest slowly. "Can you keep up, do you need me to carry you?"

OOC: I'll make a camp topic tomorrow.

Droplet's whiskers trembled in amusement. "Do I look that weak?"
She quickly stood up and followed Leafstorm through the forest.
