Tansykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Magpiestar jumped onto the rock, his tail flicking back and forth as he took a breath before calling for the clan. "Let all c-cats o-old enough to capture t-their own p-prey g-gather underneath J-Jaggedrock for a clan m-meeting!"

Tansykit dashed out of the nursery. She quickly smoothed her fur into place as she settled down among her clanmates, eyes sparkling with anticipation. She was going to be an apprentice!

"Tansykit, p-please s-step forward..." the tom spoke, sucking in a large breath before speaking once more. "You h-have reached the age of six moons, and a-are now ready to be a-apprenticed. From this d-day forth, until you receive y-your warrior name, you shall b-be known as Tansypaw. Y-Your mentor shall be Cedarstorm. C-Congratulations."

The brown tabby warrior stood up and approached the black and white apprentice, looking at her seriously but with a smile. She touched her nose and gave her a defiant look. "I expect great things of you, Tansypaw. Training will start immediately. Meet me at the entrance of the camp at dusk." Saying that, she stepped back so her family could congratulate the newly appointed apprentice.
