The black leader slowly made his way on top of the Jaggedrock, his voice low as he called out to the clan. "Let a-all cats o-old enough to capture their o-own prey g-gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan m-meeting!"

She knew what this was about. Everyone in the clan had been talking about it, giving her looks of anticipation. Ever since she'd first caught on, it'd been like she'd hardly been able to breath or keep her wits about her. Even as leaf-fall's icy winds tore away at the trees and left most cats trembling, it was like the world was calling to her, and she couldn't wait to see what awaited her outside the camp. Finally.

Greykit bounded out in a flash, standing beside Ebonykit as she listened to Magpiestar's summons. Turning towards her fellow den-mate she spat lowly, "Why does he gotta stutter so much? I-I-I'm m-m-m-mentally r-r-r-r-retarded." Greykit cruelly mocked, sticking out her tongue and shaking her head whilst twitching before stopping and laughing while straightening herself out.

The leader's ear flicked at the sound of Greykit's voice. Despite her quieter tone, his ears were still as sharp as ever. His eyes narrowed. As much as he wanted to put himself down, there was no way he would sit and listen to a kit disrespect their leader like that. Even if the leader was as unworthy as himself.

Magpiestar straightened out his chest and lifted his voice. "Ebonykit, Greykit, please step forward." His tone almost carried a growl as he called out Greykit's name.
