"Good morning." The deputy meowed as he dipped his head in a brief greeting to his daughters. Two of them were his kin and the third might as well have been. Originally, it was supposed to be just him and Echopaw hunting, but it appeared their little patrol had grown. He smiled softly, making his way out of the entrance. As much as he wished he could just hang around and spend time with his daughters, leafbare was coming and they needed to hunt for as much as they could now. Of course, they could exchange a few words while hunting, there was no harm in that. Rippedsky lead the three she-cats out into the territory. It was a relief to be out with them; it reminded him how much was still here amidst all of the loss he had experienced as of late.
"It's a rather nice day to be out..." He spoke lowly, feeling only the slightest of chills down his spine. The thought of a frigid leafbare was less then appealing to the deputy. Him and Crowstar would have to lead his clan through the season of sickness and starvation. But, he supposed there was no way he could not still thank Starclan for the weather they had brought today. It would most likely be one of the last for a while. Rippedsky raised his nose and opened his maw slightly to test the air. There were hints of squirrel. Most would be hiding their nuts for the coming cold, meaning it was the perfect time to bring them in for prey. But none was close by, so he padded slowly onward while waiting for one of his kits to reply.
