| Laurelsong had been chatting with a friend when, distantly, she heard her name being called. Wait, what? Sitting bolt upright, for a moment she was a bit confused, but quickly the realization dawned upon her; I'm a mentor! With a broad smile, the youthful warrior leaped to her paws and trotted over to the young gray she-cat who has been named her apprentice, bending down to excitedly touch noses. Isn't this one of Brindlewhisker's kits? Oh wow, I'm mentoring the kid of a deputy! How awesome is that?! Grinning down at the broad-faced young cat, the white-and-gray molly purred; "I'm looking forward to our training, you're going to be one of the best warriors WindClan has ever seen when I'm done with you!" ______________________________________ |

Turning away quickly, she turned to look for her mum with a panicked expression, she didn't want to leave the nursery! She wanted to stay and snuggle with her ma forever! Looking back up at Laurelsong, she was unsure on how to deal with the situation, did this replace Brindlewhisker as her mother? |
