The Raven among the Frost(Closed for Ravenpaw and Frostpaw)

It was her first day as an official apprentice. She sat outside the apprentices den with her gray blue tail curled around her white paws. Her olive green eyes looking around. She had wanted to do some training with Smallbird her mentor but that hadn't happened yet. So she sat alert for her first time as an apprentice. She settled down til she was in a relaxed state. She looked around before she closed her eyes for a moment up until she heard someone approaching

Ravenpaw saw the new apprentice and decided to say hello. The large fluffy gray and black cat padded over his big paws surprisingly were very silent but could still be heard. "Hey I'm Ravenpaw! What's your name?" He usually didn't greet new apprentices but he didn't have very many and he had better start now before he was made a warrior, which probably wasn't that far ahead. He studied the smaller she cat with his yellow eyes.

Frostpaw seemed to blinked her olive green eyes open as she looked up at the tom that approach her. She sat up slowly and flicked a gray blue ear"oh..its nice to meet you Ravenpaw I'm Frostpaw"She mewed offering a small smile. She w asnt sure why he decided to come speak to her then again she didn't mind seeing as she needed to make friends anyhow.

Ravenpaw smiled and sat down. "Thats a pretty name. I've always wondered what frost looked like, my mother says we'll see it very soon." He meowed. "Do you know anybody else yet?" He asked tilting his head a little.

Frostpaw seemed to looked at the apprentice before her at first not really hiding it as she looked him over before she mewed"I'm curious myself I'm not too sure what frost looks like myself...i..um thanks I like your name too"She mewed shifting her paws slightly and got comfortable before she said."no..i haven't met many others besides Leafstorm...and my mentor Smallbird but i haven't met the other apprentices besides you"She mewed.

Ravenpaw nodded. "Want to see the best place to get moss for bedding?" The large tom meowed.

Frostpaw blinked getting to her paws quickly only to pushed down her excitement "sure anything to get to see outside of camp "She mewed keeping the eagerness from her voice

Ravenpaw chuckled and meowed a follow me before getting up and walking towards the camp entrance. The large fluffy tom led the way out of camp. Thankfully no burrs got stuck in his fur this time, but he'd have to check again later just to make sure. Walking a few foxlengths again the tom stopped and turned his head waiting for Frostpaw to make her way through the camp entrance.

Frostpaw blinked and her ears burned slightly as he chuckled but the smile never left her face. She followed after him her blue Gray tabby tail with a small ginger patch flicked as she reached him outside the camp entrance. She paused once outside the camp her olive eyes round with awe for a moment. She had remembered only briefly when she had been out of the camp and that was the day she was taken in maybe almost 2 or 3 moons ago. "So where's the best place to find moss "She mewed.

"You'll see." He meowed and started walking again. He zig zagged around the trees and showed the newly made apprentice some things, before coming to the site of a barely charred clearing with a few trees that were blackened from the slight lick of flames moons ago. Underneath on the roots and trunk of those trees was a bright colored moss. Ravenpaw turned to Frostpaw and smiled. "Here it is." He meowed.

Frostpaw followed eagerly and blinked looking to the trees that were still burnt and she tilted her head to the side breifly. She then seen the moss and smiled some."so...are we collecting moss or?"She asked curiously approached some colored moss.

Ravenpaw laughed and nodded. He started pulling the soft bright moss off with his claws. Once they can collect enough for a best he turned to the she cat and asked what she wanted to do now.

Frostpaw collected as much as she could and she tried to collect a bunch she then blinked thinking for a long moment before she mewed around some moss"We could bring it back to camp...see who needs their moss beds changed maybe...and I guess afterwards I dont...know go for a walk or something "She suggested thinking.

Ravenpaw thought for a moment before grinning. "Yeah good idea lets go?" He meowed and led the way back to camp.

Frostpaw smiled ears perked she nodded and gathered the rest of her moss and followed after him a small purr rumbled in her throat as she followed back to camp.
