The Thundering Frost(open)

The formerly named Frost,looked around as she had started to adjust to life living in a clan. She had constantly wondered where her real mother was and why everyone seemed to avoid telling the small she kit. Frostkit was quiet as she came from the nursery to play as she adjusted to clan life. The scents of it had been briefly familiar but like fleeting memories she couldn't know how but she knew her mother Jaysong lived where she was now but she had no idea where she was. She flicked a blue Gray tabby ear as she sat down outside the nursery. Her olive green eyes taking in the camo again for the hundredth time she she had called this place home.

Leafstorm followed the small kit out of the nursery, giving her a few gentle licks and trying to take her unbelievably scruffy fur.

He padded a short distance away and stretched out in a patch of sunlight, giving his pelt a few lolicks and keeping half an eye on Frostkit.

Frost blinked as she felt the feel of her adopted father's tongue on her head trying to take her scruffy fur which wasn't cooperating. She blinked out of her thoughts as he had and looked up at him. She smiled some and scampered over to where he laid and leapt into his tail with a squeak.

"A rogue. In ThunderClan. Disgraceful." Spat Falconpaw, who crouched in the shadows of the bramble walls, his verdant eyes burning with fury. The livid apprentice's maroon paws flexed their claws into the loose dirt as he followed the abhorrent creature's every move. What was even more disgusting to Falconpaw was how other warriors showed the kit affection. It doesn't deserve anything more than a painful death. He growled inwardly as Leafstorm groomed the foreigner. How can we be taken seriously as a strong and powerful Clan if we let outsiders in? They could be part of a group of rogues plotting to attack us! Falconpaw was unaware that his golden-brown fur had been rising throughout his internal rant, doubling his already substantial size.

Frostkit blinked her ears pricked as she just barely caught Falconpaw's words and a squeaky growl escaped the small she kit"I am not a rogue my mother was a full blooded warrior and so was my father"She squeaked rounding on him fluffy fur bristling. She lashed her tail. Yeah she may not remember much about her father only that he was a loyal warrior that fell in battle but she knew enough about her mother to know She was not a rogue not in the slightest.

Leafstorm quickly intervened, feeling a small pang of sadness as he looked at the small tom. His name was a constant reminder of his two friends, Hawkswoop and Falconpaw.
"Falconpaw," He mewed, his voice both mothering and chiding. "Many rouges have become honorable warriors. Don't be so quick to judge a cat on their origins, or you may end up in trouble."
The fluffy tom didn't mention that Falconpaw's own father, Leopardclaw, was found in the territory.
The warrior gave Frostkit a small nudge before settling back down watchfully.

OOC: Leafy probably won't talk much through this, so go ahead and skip my posting turns~

Anger ran through Falconpaw's blood like grain through wood. He couldn't believe that the puny creature decided to talk back to him, urging him to swipe at its face, claws unsheathed. Before the lean apprentice had the chance to do so, Leafstorm interfered, fuelling further the raging fire of vexation that burned within the young tom. "Honourable." Falconpaw scoffed with a lash of his tail. "What's so honourable about living an uncivilised, barbaric lifestyle with no order or pride to discipline you? Last I heard, chowing down on carrion every day isn't entirely dignifying. It's revolting." His words were poisoned with pure hatred, causing him to recoil in revulsion.
Falconpaw was so distracted by his hatred that he had forgotten who it was that caused this commotion. After a brief pause he turned on the kit that sparked his fury. "You're lucky Leafstorm isn't here to protect you, rogue." Falconpaw hissed, ignoring its claims of having Clan-parents. His jade eyes bore into Frostkit's skull with such fierceness that he was surprised her fur didn't catch alight. The fuming tom said nothing more before his departure back to the apprentice den, his tail writhing behind him.

Frostkit fur puffed out in a bit of anger at the older toms accusations. The small kit didn't understand his hatred towards her at all. Least of all he didn't care about what she had said. As he glared at her her courage seemed to start to dwindle a little bit but not by much not until Falconpaw had went into the apprentices den. Fear seemed to come off her in waves after he left and she scampered back over to where Leafstorm rested and she laid with him tail fluffed out a bit and her fur spiky not as fluffed out as it had been before"i..im not a rogue..."She mewed quietly more to herself and even if she was it still didn't make her regret it. Her ears flattened slowly and she looked up at Leafstorm.

Leafstorm shook his head slowly. "No. You're not." He mewed quietly.
Falconpaw unnerved him, to say the least. The former Falconpaw had been a rouge. Hawkswoop had been a rouge. Leopardclaw, Falconpaw's own father, had been a rouge.

He turned his bright green eyes to Frostkit. "C'mon," He got to his feet, padding towards the Fresh Kill Pile. "Let's go get some food? How about a nice mouse?"

The gray blue and ginger patched tabby got to her white paws slowly and nodded slowly"i...i don't know why he was being so mean"She squeaked as she nodded a bit letting her kitten soft fur relax a bit as she followed her adopted father to the fresh kill pile. She was eager to eat a mouse or any prey at that point her hunger had come crawling back to her after the incident with Falconpaw. She looked at the fresh kill pile and spotted the brown furred mouse and grabbed a hold of the tail trying to pull the dead furred creature from the pile.
