Sunpaw's Warrior Ceremony

It was about time a new warrior was made. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!"

Sunpaw padded closer exited. Ivyfall told him that it was his ceremony tonight and he was finally turning into higher rank. After a lot of training with deputy he acomplished his mission.

"Sunpaw," Fishstar addressed the apprentice as he padded out into the centre of the camp, "step forward."

occ: Sunpetal, please
Sunpaw padded a little closer to Fishstar nervously looking at the she-cat leader. He prepared for the things which would probably follow.

"I, Fishstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice." She felt no respect for StarClan anymore, but she knew that many in the Clan did, so she would recite the ceremonial words as per usual. "He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in turn. Sunpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Occ: Sunpaw is tom.

Icc: "I do," proudly mewed ginger tom with thinking of future name.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Sunpetal. RiverClan honors your loyalty and hardiness." The leader gave a respectful nod and leaped off of the branch.

Lilypaw's eyes lit up. "Sunpetal, Sunpetal!" the white-furred she-cat chanted. Her crush was finally a warrior. She purred, knowing that one day she'll be a warrior too.

Sunpetal happily accepted his new name and proudly looked back; he heard his name from his clanmates and tom was especially happy when Lilypaw began yowling his name. He padded closer and mewed through yelling: "Soon it will be your turn."
