Olivepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Leopardstar leaped atop the Jaggedrock to begin a ceremony, pleased with the growing strength of ShadowClan. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Olivepaw padded out of the apprentices den, stretching her aching limbs. After the whole ordeal with the 'Mist' and everything, she kind of changed. She was still the bright and bubbly she-cat she once was, but she wasn't the same optimistic apprentice that she used to be. She was a but more serious than usual, and she felt she had let her father down. She had not been able to escape the 'Mistwalker's' lair on her own, and not until her father and the other leaders showed up were her and the others able to escape. She should have been able to free herself and the others. Why couldn't she have? Why hadn't she?

At Leopardstar's call, her ears perked in curiousness. What could this meeting be about so soon after everything that happened? Surely there wasn't more to explain, or another 'Mist' stalking about the territories again. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought, but she shook the awful thoughts from her mind. Maybe, just maybe, it was some good news. Sitting down, her spotted tail neatly wrapped around her paws, she let her green gaze rest upon her father.

Olivepaw took a step forward, resting her vivid green gaze on Magpiewing. She forced her quivering tail and shifting paws to still as she waited anxiously for the vow that would change her life.

Olivepaw nodded surely, "I do." She said, her tone gravely serious.

Olivelily let out a breath she hadn't known she had been holding as she stepped up to lick her father's shoulder in conclusion of the ceremony. She glanced around as her clanmates voices rose in unison as they repeated her new name, Olivelily. It was perfect.
