Shrewppaw Time! (For Drippy)

Shrewpaw was pacing through the apprentice den. So much had happened lately. The mist had been defeated, Reedpaw had returned, and his new annoying scars had been resticting him way to much for his liking. At first, he had wanted to spend as much time as possible with his friend, but now he was starting to get bored of the older apprentice again. So as he paced, bored out of his mind, he decided to get some rest. As he headed for the back of the den, he changed his mind and started pacing again, frusturated. Why couldn't he find anything to do? As he got more irratated, his pawsteps grey heavier and heavier. And as he paced over and over again, he stopped paying attention to his surroundings. Until he accidentally stomped on Sharppaw's tail.
"Hi Sharppaw," he said right away, glad for something to do. He didn't even think to say sorry, just stepping on her tail shouldn't hurt too much. Right now, he was looking for anything to quench his boredom. And this fluffy she-cat was the perfect cat for the job. Though she was younger than him, she had beat him in a fight once, though he was sure if he had landed one more blow he would have won. He didn't underestimate her anymore, and she had gained his respect. It turned out she wasn't a scaredy mouse like nearly every other cta in the clan. "Wanna do something? 'Cuz I'm really bored."

"What d'you thing you're do- Shrewpaw! Hi!" The fluffy tabby got to her feet, her green eyes shining. She was nearly as big as the older apprentice and came up to his chin, something she was very proud of. She didn't mention the Fightclan battle. He was a respectable fighter, and if she hadn't taken a few chances he would've beaten her.

"Sure, whatever it takes to get away from camp." She replied."It's so boring- there're no fights or anything." She stretched, starting to pad towards the Fresh-Kill Pile.
"What are we gonna do? Hunting? Fighting?" She asked, quickly wolfing down a small mouse and turning to the brown tom with a grin.

"Yeah, probably some hunting," Shrewpaw replied. He was glad to find someone as eager to get out of camp as he was. Noticing that she was eating, he trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a plump bird, which he swallowed in a few gulps, barely chewing his food at all. He had felt that there hadn't been enough drama sine the mist, and his claws were eager to sink through flesh for a purpose. Hunting wasn't good enough. He started padding out of camp, turning just his head to look at Sharppaw.
"Maybe we can sniff out a fox to fight if we want to have fun."

She grinned, trotting after Shrewpaw eagerly. "Fox, owl, badger. I'm up for anything."
There was barely anything going on with Thunderclan. She'd missed out on most of the Dark Forest things and hadn't gotten in nearly enough fights to make up for it.

Shrewpaw smirked as Sharppaw caught up to him. He was so bored, he could fight any of thos things. Or all of them "Honestly, right now I could go for all three." Sniffing the air, he caught the scent of a bird. Following the trail a little ways, he found a warbler pecking at an ant hill. After a brief moment of wondering why anything would want to eat an ant, he silently padded towards it, paws silent as he stepped forward. Then he leapt for it. An unsheathed paw hit the bird's wing, causing it's flight to be slow and clumsy, perfect for him to catch it. His teeth closed around the top of the bird's spine, killing it. Turning around, he grinned.
"Want it?"

Sharppaw grinned. "Oh please. There's something far better than a bird over there." She gestured to a large male raccoon that was slowly backing it's way down a tree.
"Follow my lead."
But then the raccoon turned. The two made eye contact for a split second.
Then, with a fierce bellow the raccoon raced towards Sharppaw, looming over her and baring his dangerously sharp fangs.

With a hiss Sharppaw lifted her back legs, spitting and yowling angrily as she dug her claws into his underbelly harshly.
She sprung deftly up, dancing a few steps away. "You'll have to do better than that!" She chuckled, her teeth bared.

Sharppaw used Belly Rake, dealing -7 HP and using 10 SP

OOC: You can rp the raccoon. He would attack before Sharppaw attacks again.

IC: "I sure hope so," Shrewpaw replied, following her gaze to the raccoon. "Hey, I don't need a lead to follow." He just grinned at the the angry creature when it charged at Sharppaw. Now this would be even more fun. He let her attack first, curious to see what she would do. But she just raked his stomach, powerful but boring. Suddenly, he realized that the raccoon hadn't noticed him yet. That wouldn't do! Though he wanted to intimidate it, he was smart enough to realize that the element of surprise would come in handy when attacking. Dropping his bird, he silently ran for it's side, then yet out a battle cry as he jumped at it, putting all of his body weight into his out-stretched paws. He hit the creature with full force, knocking him off of his feet.

Shrewpaw used Run-and-Tackle on Raccoon, dealing 9 damage (6+3) and costing 10 stamina

The raccoon wheeled around angrily, swiping at the brown tabby apprentice with one sharp-clawed hand, leaving a long gash across her side that would probably scar and sending her flying. Jabbering angrily he craned his neck to look at Shrewpaw, giving a shake and tossing the apprentice off of his back easily.

Raccoon used Quick Swipe, dealing -20 HP and using 10 SP. Sharppaw is KO'ed

Sharppaw hissed angrily as the raccoon sent her flying. She hit the ground hard and groaned, her vision growing blurry. She didn't get up.

Shrewpaw fell off the raccoon's back almost immediately after it noticed him, but for a brief heartbeat the two of them were face to face. Instead of being scared by the sharp teeth a breath away from his face, the apprentice just smirked haughtily. And then he tumbled off, though he managed to land on his paws. He let out an annoyed huff at the nearly unconscious body of Sharppaw. Why in StarClan's name did she have to pass out during all of the fun? Planning his next move, he realized that he had lost the element of surprise and the bonus of a partner. But he could still use he strength, speed, and skill. Though this would be a bit harder than he had thought, he graciously accepted the challenge. There was no way that he could lose to this bumbling idiot. Quickly realizing that the best way to attack the thing was to first unbalance him, so he dashed past the raccoon and bit down hard on his tail, pulling him back with all of his strength.

Shrewpaw used Tail Yank of Raccoon, dealing 2 damage and costing 10 stamina. Raccoon is stunned for one turn.

The raccoon yowled and jabbered angrily, squirming around and trying to reach the annoying cat that was pulling at it's tail.

"Ha! Take that you mouse-brain!" Shrewpaw jabbed, glad that his plan was working. It was hilarious to see the creature so mad and unable to do anything. He considered doing it again, but using the same move twice was cheap and boring. And the whole point of the fight was to have fun! So the apprentice put the next part of his plan into action. Now that he was behind the unbalanced raccoon, he was able to leap onto his back. And he did. He put all of his weight into his front paws and chest, pressing into the back of the raccoon's shoulders. Then he dug his claws into the creature's back and scraped down repeatedly, not showing any mercy.

Shrewpaw used Leap-and-Hold on Raccoon, dealing 12 (6=6 because I don't want it to lag out two turns) and costing 10 stamina.
