Duskkit shuffled back at his mother's words, choosing to press himself against his sister, Dovekit. The little tom meowed to her, "It's bigger than I thought. So much green..."

She looked at him when he spoke. "ya.. I.. I didn't expect all of this.." She gazed around her new clan. Cats wereworking everywhere, some were watching them as the group she was with approached. She didn't know for sure, but she could feel complication itching up her spine.

Specklefang padded out of the warrior's den, a weird but somewhat familiar scent wafting into camp. Ear perking the she-cat watched familiar cats pad into the camp, but the one that was the most noticeable was Sunpaw. Fur bristling slightly her ears flicked against her head, undisguised hate making her unsettled. She wished that the apprentice would just rot, life was so much better off without her.

Toadkit, the wayward brother of Duskkit, Dovekit, Coalkit, Daisykit, and Twisterkit, and one of Umberflame's sons, had trailed behind his family as they had entered the camp. He didn't know what all the fuss was about, nor did he notice the tension, and so he maintained a non-plussed air about him.
