Sandkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Kits born in Greenleaf always seemed to sprout up like weeds.

Within just the past moon, it seemed like countless kits had begun their journey to finding their proper place within the Clan. Brindlewhisker leapt up onto the Tallrock with ease, finding slight comfort in the way that the sun-heated stone stung her paws. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" She yowled loudly, settling herself comfortably upon the warm stone, voice confident as she summoned her fellow Clanmates.

Shortly after her Clanmates assembled beneath the Tallrock, Brindlewhisker found herself rising into a more upright sitting position as her gaze fell upon Sandkit, carefully taking in the look of pride etched on the young she-cat's face. "Sandkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sandpaw. Your mentor will be Dawnlight. I trust he will pass down all he knows on to you." She announced, leading the her Clanmates in the cheers that soon followed.
