In the Night

Nightfoot crept along the edge of Carrionplace, leading her small patrol towards the Windclan border. It was one of Shadowclan's nightly patrols, and she decided to show some apprentices the borders. "Keep up slowpokes!" She meowed softly to the cats behind her. "Right now we are near Carrionplace, the place of crow food and twoleg junk, and it smells disgusting. We need to leave this border while we can still smell!"

Snowpaw was right behind Nightfoot beyond excited to be seeing the borders to see the whole territory. Her tail flicked behind her and her paws itched to dart out but she had to control herself. Suddenly a terrible smell entered her nose and she spat out as Nightfoot spoke. "Carrionplace? That is disgusting! Yes please!"

Cedarpaw was right beside Snowpaw following the warrior with a bright smile. Finally, she could join a patrol and learn something! Maybe Nightfoot can be a better teacher than Hazeflight, who always was too busy to train her. Why is there is even such a place like this thing in our territory? It smells awful and it makes wanna leave as soon as possible! Does it even useful for us?" She meowed trying to not sniff too much. Even in such a nasty place, the brown tabby she-cat was so happy to be out here learning something different from a real warrior.
