Cobrapaw's Warrior Ceremony

Leopardstar leaped atop the Jaggedrock to begin a ceremony. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" The leader was still frustrated with current events, but tonight was another good night. The second of his kits was ready for his warrior name.

Cobrapaw blinked hearing the call. The small spotted tom licked the fur on his chest down as he finished grooming his fur before she he stood and sat down looking to his father

"Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior." Leopardstar announced when the clan had gathered and he spotted his son, who looked ready enough "Cobrapaw, step forward." He paused to let him do as he was commanded. "I, Leopardstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Cobrapaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" The leader asked, feeling a rush of pride for his smallest son.

Cobrapaw blinked and stood up taking a step forward and trying his hardest to look a bit taller then the small apprentice really was"I do"he mewed confidently.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Cobrapaw, you shall now be known as Cobrafang. ShadowClan honors your perseverance and loyalty." The leader jumped down and rested his muzzle on the Cobrafang's head, completing the ceremony.

Cobrafang smiled at his name and looked to his father as the ceremony ended.
