Inside the apprentices den

*Yawn* Darkpaw's eyes shot open as she noticed most of the cats were asleep. Goldenpaw! Hey, Goldenpaw, get up! She meowed as she paded Goldenpaws cheeck with her paw.

Seeing that Goldenpaw would not wake up, she decided to go for a hunt.

She spotted a thrush sitting on a rock and she got into the hunters crouch at ounce.
She crept from behind it, but stepped on a twig witch alarmed the bird.
"Mousedung!"
She chased after it heading towards the RiverClan border when she spotted a small silver object in the River.
But it was not an object but a kit.
Hold on! She yowled and hurled towards the river not caring about the thrush.

He- she swallowed another mouthfull of water.
StarClan help me! she mewled as her head was forced into the water.

Darkpaw leaped into the water as soon as the kit wen't under.
I'l get you! Stay were you are! Try no to drift away! She tried to grab the kit but could not. she was sinking to.

Graystream heard their mews for help and ran towards the RiverClan border. When he arrived he saw the two of them half drowned and floating down the river, Why do I have to swim... Graystream thought bleakly to himself as he remembered the time when he was an Apprentice and almost drowned in this same river. Luckly he was with Mistpelt and she was able to save him. Graystream leaped into the river and slowly padded his way through the water to reach the two cats. When he made it to them he realized he couldn't carry two at once, "Grab my tail!" He ordered towards Darkpaw as he grabbed Silverkit by the scruff and he slowly made his way back to shore. It took a while but he was able to get them back to safety. He put Silverkit down and started licking her fur to warm her up, "Are you two alright?" He meowed between large gasps of air as he felt incredibly exausted from bringing two cats back to shore, he was close to faint but he tried to hide it.

Darkpaw grabbed Greystreams tail.

When she was out of the water she whispered into greystreams ear: You mousebrain! I can deal with my own problems with my OWN sister! You could of drowned! Now give her to me!
She wacked Greystreams ear withher paw.

Silverkit wiggled and squirmed in Greystreams jaws.
Lemme go! I want to see my sister! Let go, let go! Darkpaw, get this cat to let go! Uuurg!

Graystream put Silverkit down right in front of Darkpaw, "You didn't look like you'd make it out," Graystream whispered back into Darkpaw's ear, "Besides, I actually know how to swim, Mistpelt taught me," He meowed slowly to save breath, "Please take Silverkit back to camp, Darkpaw,"

Goldenpaw padded out of camp. She had noiced that Darkpaw wasn't in their den and she didn't seem to be anywhere else. Goldenpaw heard some noises coming from the riverClan border and decided to investigate. What she found when she got there was more than she had expected. "What the..... Greystream.... What's happening?" Before Greystream could answer, she saw that Darkpaw was completly soaked. Goldenpaw ran over to her. "What happened?" Then she noticed the kit. And why is that kit here?"

This mousebrain here decide to save me and my other sister from drowning, but i had it under controll! Silverkit fell into the river.

Grr! I know how to swim, Greystream! She is a RiverClan cat, just stay out of my way! I am gratefull for your help but you could of died saving us! It is better to save yourself than two useless cats!

Darkpaw\'s harsh tone turned to a purr.
I\'m just glad you did not share me and Silverkits fate.

"I was just looking out for you," Graystream meowed slowly, "Goldenpaw, can you please take everyone back to camp?" Graystream mewed, he tried to hide large gasps of breath coming from him.

Darkpaws purr fanished at instantley.
Greystream I am old enough to fend for myself. I know you care about me but Im not a kit anymore!
She trotted beside Goldenpaw with her fur on end.

OOC: 5 cats so far....

IC: Swiftpaw was hunting for the 3 time since he was caught on Thunderclan territory. ( Read Lightningkit's Wandering to understand ) This time he was on his territory, but when he heard yelling and Silverkit scream from the river, he forgot about everything and raced over, only to find her okay. THEN he remembered the consequences " Oh no..... Not again " mewed, angry at himself. THEN forgot about them again when he saw Graystream wasn't okay and Darkpaw padding away, angry. " Graystream, What happened?! " He hissed

*sigh* I wil take Silverkit to RiverClan when she is approved.
