First morning fun(Open)

Fogkit stumbled out of the nursery and out to the camp clearing, in awe of all the bustling cats. She looked around and started to look around for something to get into. Finally she spied a thorn, she pounced on it and purred with satisfaction. She then got an idea.... With a mischievous glint in her eye she picked it up in her mouth and slipped into a den, (which one she doesn't know, because she hasn't learned them all yet) and into a nest on the side. She crept back out and hurried back to catch some falling leaves.

"And what might you be doing in the warrior's den? I'm fairly certain you haven't even reached your six moons." A purr lined the words as Rippedsky meowed while he looked down at the young kit. He had plenty of kits of his own to know they were always high energy and could cause trouble when left unwatched. Thankfully, Bubblemist hadn't been a pawful, but apparently her daughter had picked up some of Acornstorm's personality. Fogkit would be a wonderful apprentice and warrior someday. I should arrange a ceremony soon... The tom mused to himself silently. It had been a short while since he had any cats ready to begin their training. This kit offered hope for the future of the clan.

Rippedsky stepped in front of Fogkit to block her path. There was no way she would be able to sneak off and cause more trouble. It was obvious she knew what she was doing. The deputy raised a non-existent eyebrow in question as he looked over the kit. She reminded him so much of Bubblemist when she had been a kit. Another purr threatened to rumble from the black and white cat's throat. He suppressed it. Skyclan's deputy did not need to be acting soft around every kit that reminded him of his own kin. He didn't want to come across as a pushover. But kits were most certainly his weakness. You've already got me wrapped around your paw little one...

Fogkit jumped when an older cat appeared in her way, "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't really mean to put it in the warrior den!" She said, glancing at the hidden thorn, " I can remove it if you want."She offered. Then I'll put it in the apprentice den!She thought to herself. She was already moving towards it, you never know when you can get another perfect thorn as this one!

"You probably shouldn't leave thorns around the camp anyways. Here, I can take it." Rippedsky stretched out a bi-colored forepaw for the kit to pass him the little thing. He hoped she would give it up easily. The deputy held back a laugh as she darted to fetch the thorn. Settling back on his haunches, he waited for Fogkit to return. Once the kit was there, he once more asked for the thorn. There was no telling what trouble she could get herself into if she was unwatched. He found himself wondering where Bubblemist might be. Clearly, his daughter would need a lesson or two on parenting. The thought of his kit having kits made him feel incredibly old, but also caused a purr to rumble in his throat.

She cautiously grabbed the thorn between her teeth and deposited it at the older cat's paws.
"Here you go." She said, sad that all the fun had stopped so early.

Halfkit skidded out of the nursery at full speed, ready to conquer the world. It was finally her first day she got to go out of the nursery, and she was so excited! She had waited for this for so long. Halfkit glanced around hunting for her litter mates. She stopped abruptly when she took in how  many unfamiliar faces there were. So many new smells... She tentatively sniffed to ground just outside of the nursery. She could smell Fogkit! She leaped up in excitement. Who knew her nose could work this well?

On a mission to follow her sister, Halfkit stumbled between legs and under bodies three times her size. When she made it across camp, she stopped in front of a den. What is this place? Why is Fogkit here?

Curlykit's appearance nearly completed the four-kit combo as she strode clumsily after her sister. The curly-haired she-kit stopped at the deputy's paws, examining the thorn with her one good eye. "What if we gathered a lot of thorns and used them to catch prey?" the kit questioned. "They are clearly not for playing." she added, poking the tip with her soft pad and hopping away with a yelp. She wasn't hurt, but the sting was enough to make the kit keep her relative distance from the object.

"Will you play with us grandpa?" Curlykit meowed up to the warrior, her nose twitching as the scent of prey filled camp with the arrival of a hunting patrol.

Halfkit stepped up to Curlykit. "Who needs thorns when you have claws?" she meowed, flashing her tiny paws in front of her.
