Two sisters of Shadow (Open)

Curlykit padded out of the nursery, excited to finally be out of that den. Though she was small even for a kit, she couldn't help but feel that the nursery was too cramped. Hopefully no one would tease her about her missing ear, and she could just explore camp and meet her clanmates like any normal kit would. She turned back to the nursery and called irritably for her sister. "Come on Cedarkit! We have to explore camp, or do you want your first time out to be for your apprentice ceremony?" She rushed into the center of camp and looked around. If this was how big camp was, the whole forest must be gigantic! And someday she would be able to explore all of it, as long as no one held her back because of her partial deafness. She sighed, would anyone ever stop worrying about her because she couldn't hear that well?

The young fluffy she-cat had been playing around the nursery since she opened her eyes, bothering the queens and other kits. But now it was her day to finally go out and see the world outside the dark den where she was living. And the best part was that she was going to do it with her sister!
The tabby and muscular she-kit ran quickly from the nursery and pushed her sister, playfully. Cedarkit watched the clan with big green eyes of excitement. "Shadowclan is awesome! Come on, Curlykit! I'm not going to wait for my apprentice ceremony to explore! I wanna see everything!" She meowed flicking her tail and ears. The brownish cat glanced the fresh-kill pile and ran to it without waiting. She smelled all the different scents and was glad to discover that all had a delicious smell. She couldn't wait to be a warrior and catch her first prey! "What do you want to see first?" The young she-cat asked, looking back at her smaller sister. Since they were born, Curlykit always had been different from her because of her missing ear, but the Cedarkit honestly didn't care about how she looked. Instead, she liked that because the gray tabby she-cat seemed to have a warrior's scar already.

Curlykit playfully shoved her sister in return. Listening the Cedarkit's words, she felt even more excited than before. Her sister never judged her for her lack of an ear, and Curlykit loved her for that. "Maybe we could see the warriors in the warrior's den! Because we're going to become warriors someday, right?" Hardly even waiting for Cedarkit to reply, Curlykit started racing to the warrior's den as fast as her kit legs could carry her. She wanted to be a warrior as soon as possible, and the best way to do that was to talk to actual warriors! If she could convince them not to worry about her missing ear, then it would prove that it wouldn't hold her back from becoming a warrior like everyone else.

The kit flicked her tail excited after hearing her sister's response. "Then what are waiting for?! Let's go!" She meowed happily following Curlykit as fast as she did.
the kitten stopped close to the entrance of the den and looked at it, curiously. Maybe she could sneak up a little and see if some warrior was awake to talk to them about how is to be a warrior cat. That would be awesome!
She crouched a little and moved slowly and quietly. Just one paw entered the den and she looked at the nests of the older cats. "Hello? Is someone awake?" The kitten asked with a soft noise, trying to not annoy any other warrior. The least she wanted was to get her sister in trouble because of her actions.

Curlykit rolled her eyes. She loved Cedarkit more than any other cat in the world, but she could be such a frog-brain sometimes. Why should they be slow and quiet when they could be quick and direct? Curlykit confidently walked into the warrior's den, eager to learn what it was like to be a warrior right away. She nodded to Cedarkit to come out and stand next to her while she talked. Maybe her sister could learn a thing or two about how to get answers.
"Hello warriors! Is anyone awake?" she asked, not loudly but not quietly either. She hoped that this would catch the attention of the warriors, so that they could have a conversation. They were probably already awake anyways, so Curlykit wasn't worried about waking them up. And if they got in trouble for some strange reason, it wasn't as if their clanmates wold hurt them or anything.

Cedarkit smiled proudly seeing how her sister was being loud and more optimistic than most of the time. She liked to see her happy like that and now the kitten was ready to share some of that energy. She stood up properly and imitated her sister,  meowing as high as she did and as Cedarkit wanted to do in first place. "Come on! Can anybody here come here and talk to us?"
However, the brown she-kit wasn't patient at all and she decided to go back to the exit of the den, touching with the tip of her tail the side of her sister. "Hey, Curlykit!  Let's play to be warriors! I'm sure that if we show the clan how good are we at fighting then we can have our apprentice ceremony sooner than any kit!" The young cat lowered her body, ready to play fight against the gray tabby she-cat.

Curlykit sighed in frustration at the lack of answers they got. Even when Cedarkit joined her, they didn't get any immediate responses from anybody. At the other she-kit's idea to pretend to be warriors, a wide grin broke out over Curlykit's face. "Yeah! Screw waiting for warriors to talk, we'll practice being warriors! That will get me to become an apprentice sooner, because I'll beat you!" the gray tabby teased. If this went well, she wouldn't be held back for being pat deaf, she might even get the opposite! With a sudden pounce, Curlykit jumped on top of her sister, batting the other kit with her paws.

Cedarkit felt how the weight of her sister pushed her down but, for her luck, she was bigger than her since she was born. Taking that advantage, the fluffy brown she-cat moved away Curlykit with a hit of her hind legs in her belly. The kitten puffed up her chest with pride and smiled with a defiant to the other kit. "You can't defeat me! I'm Cedarstorm! The best warrior in all Shadowclan!" She meowed pretending to be an experienced fighter in a competition against another warrior. The kitten ran as her short legs allowed her and tackled her sister from her right side, aiming to avoid that Curlykit could use the same technique that she did when she was on top of her.

Curlykit found herself being shoved off by her sister, and with a little bit of breath knocked out of her. She took a few deep breaths to recover, listening to Cedarkit's boasting the best she could while doing so. She looked up and couldn't see her sister anymore, or even hear her pawsteps. Suddenly she felt a lot of weight on her right side, and it was Cedarkit. Hissing slightly, Curlykit used her left paw to land a blow on Cedarkit's head, knocking her just enough so that she could get free. "Even while using my deaf side to your advantage, no one can defeat Curly-" Curlykit paused for a moment. What would her warrior name be? "Curlystar!" she finished. She pounced on Cedarkit's lower back and pawed at her legs, trying to get her to fall down.

Cedarkit laughed happily for the game that the both started. This was the funniest day in all her short life! She couldn't ask for a better sister than Curlykit, who always accompanied her in everything she did.
She shook her head and stepped backward after her sister's hit and suddenly she felt the strength of the tabby she-cat on her back. However, she wasn't going to fall so easily. She put all her weight on her hind legs and slid on the wet ground, digging her claws in the earth to not fall. "Cedarstorm" looked at Curlystar with a smirk on her muzzle and twitched her tail up, showing superiority. "Are you sure about that, leader of Shadowclan? Then you hadn't met the amazing and unbeatable Cedarstorm!" She meowed before running back to the other kit and picking softly her tail with her jaws. With a quick move, the she-kit threw Curlykit to the ground, expecting to knock her for a while.

Curlykit was not prepared for Cedarkit's next move. Curlykit grunted at her sister's confidence, but wasn't able to dodge to attack she landed. She heaved herself up with effort, not letting herself be stunned. "Unbeatable? You wish!" Curlykit yowled,then pounced for the other kit's chest. Her paws pushed heavily against Cedarkit's chest, using enough force to knock her over. Panting, she placed one of her paws on her sister's head. "What were you saying about being unbeatable?"

Her face showed an arrogant grin of satisfaction after her sister threw her down. Curlykit was going to be an amazing warrior one day as well as she. However, Cedarkit was sure that she was better than any kitten of the nursery. "Like I said..." She started meowing before mocking at the other kit with her tongue out of her muzzle. Then the brown she-cat bit the paw that was on her head and she wrapped her own paws around the neck of the other she-cat. Using the weight of her body, Cedarkit rolled around with the gray she-kit, putting her down just like she was seconds before. Her fur was wet and covered in mud but she loved it. After all, it was part of the life of any Shadowclan cat! "I'm unbeatable! No one can defeat me in battle and the other clans will fear me onceI become a warrior."

OOC: Who should win this?

IC: Curlykit wasn't able to block Cedarki's attack, and found herself being thrown into the mud. But nothing would stop her, she was determined to prove that she could beat her sister. "Pretty good," she panted, staring intensely into Cearkit's eyes. "But there's one thing you forgot." Curlykit realized that both her paws were still free, and used them to push the other kit off of her. Once she was up, she lunged for her sister's shoulders so that she couldn't use the same technique that she had used. Though her paws met her mark, but her head hit the ground as she pushed Cedarkit over. Her head filled with pain for a few seconds, but Curlykit ignored it. "It turns out, Curlystar is even more unbeatable than Cedarstorm! I will-" Curlykit stopped abrubtly when she realized that she couldn't hear herself. She must be having a deaf spell, caused from hitting her head. She decided not to say anything, a good warrior would never reveal their weaknesses.

"Cedarstorm" growled a bit after Curlystar pushed her away. This time, she wasn't able to stand up and fell to the grouund, her face covered in mud and dirt. It wasn't a pleasant sensation but she didn't complain about it. They were having great fun here!
From the corner of her green eyes she glanced at the other kitten while the brown she-kit was standing up again. The tabby she-cat was talking about how unbeatable she was when she suddenly stopped and Cedarkit didn't understand why in that moment. The young kit thought that maybe her sister was thinking about her next words so the Shadowclan kit took the advantage and ran directly to her smaller body. She jumped in the last second, and fell on her side laughing happily and wrapping her paws around her, so the two sisters rolled over for a while until Cedarkit fell on her right side, looking with bright eyes at the gray kit. "I guess we are the most amazing and unbeatable warriors, Curlystar! We can't even defeat each other!" She meowed laughing with a warm feeling filling up her chest.

OCC: A tie??

OOC: I just wanted to know if I should pm the clan leader about an apprentice ceremony for these two.

IC: Curlykit was to occupied in her own thoughts to realize that Cedarkit was about to jump at her, and she only realized fully once she had been totally knocked over. It was wierd to roll around and play fight with her sister while the world seemed silent, and the only noise she could her right then was a quiet ringing in her ears. The two of them must have looked very weird, rolling around in the mud while wrapping their paws around each other, but it was still very enjoyable. Her hearing started clearing up a little bit, and instead of everything seeming silent, it just sounded very far away. After a little while Cedarkit fell over, causing Curlykit to do the same. They looked at each other, her gaze meeting her sister's, and Curlykit couldn't contain a purr of laughter. Then Cedarkit spoke.
To Curlykit, it sounded like she was whispering a tail-length away from her, which meant that she could barely hear her sister. All she could hear were little snippets, so it ended up sounding like; I... We are... Warriors, Curlystar! We... Each other! Curlykit still chose not to say anything about her deaf spell, being the stubborn she-cat that she was, and just pretended to have heard what Cedarkit had said. From their positions and her tone, Curlykit was able to guess that their play-fight was over. Curlykit pieced together the clues and said the first words that came to mind. "Yeah, you're right. I say we tied on that one."
