Heatherpaw's Assesment [CLOSED]

Twistedtail was sick of having to mentor her daughter Heatherpaw. The cat was so... idiotic in ways she can't express. But at the very least she would be able to get her out of Twistedtail's fur now. Today she was going to do her assessment, and if Heatherpaw passed she would continue on to be a warrior and the crooked-tailed she-cat wouldn't have to deal with her again. Though of course with the amount of skill Heatherpaw had been showing her, the gray, cream and white cat had little chance of succeeding. It was a good chance, though.

She looked at Heatherpaw's sleeping form from the other side of camp, bracing herself. She just had to explain how it works, hide out in the grass, and watch her succeed. Or fail. Hopefully not the latter. She wormed her way there, and nudged Heatherpaw with her nose. "Come on, after this you might become a warrior. Possibly."

Heatherpaw opened her eyes. When I inked the sleep from them as she stood. She just quietly caught what her mother said and gave a nod"ok"she mewed ready to get started.

Heatherpaw blinked before she brightened just a tiny but at the words assessment. Giving a brief nod she headed off into the territory. She had her ears perked listening intently and her maw parted some as she caught the scents around her. The first scent she caught of course was a hare. Moving more quietly she angled her ears for a moment before she spotted the hare. Crouching she moved forward as best as she could before giving a burst of speed closing the distance between her and the hare.She had almost had it within paws lengths before it shot into a burrow she didn't see. Skidding to a stop she went After a robin she had caught the scent of right After and followed the scent. She spotted the Brown brief and crouched creeping forward. When she was close enough she leaped landing on the bird. She bit down killing the price of prey. She out it away to come back for before continuing to a scent of a rabbit she caught the scent of. Following it She spotted the light Brown creature with a cotton tail. Crouching she darted After it catching it off fairs as she slammed her paw down in it back as she sank her teeth into the prey killing it cleanly. She only had to cat one more peice of prey.

'Hunting Dice' : 9, 4, 7

Twistedtail followed her silently from a distance, watching as the Hare skidded away. 'She was too loud moving, of course it ran away,' she thought. Her eyes widened a little though as she quickly killed a robin and then went to kill a rabbit. Creeping forward she sniffed the dead bird, seeing the claw marks and it's blank eyes that signaled it's death. Twistedtail turned around as she heard a squeak, and saw Heatherpaw in the distance above a dead rabbit's body. Following her in the tall grass she waited for Heatherpaw's next move. 'Two down in moments. I have to say that's pretty good, Heatherpaw.'

She was proud of herself so far at her two quick kills now she only needed one more. Quietly Heatherpaw moved toward the scent of another hare. Moving forward quietly she focused on her surrounding but mostly on the prey before her. Standing up after her pounce killing the hare she revealed the limp fitted prey hanging pimply in her jaw. She had caught three prices of prey. Fetching her other two peices she looked around before going back to the camp entrance.

Twistedtail saw Heatherpaw kill the last peice of prey, and let out a sigh. She did pass, and she'll finally be a warrior and out of her fur. Walking back to camp after Heatherpaw she confronted the tabby. "That was... okay. Now you should go eat something and rest. I'm going to go tell Ashstar about your success." She turned away, heading for the leader of Windclan's den.


OOC: Congrats! I'm pretty sure Heatherpaw completed all of her requirements, so she could have her ceremony now.

Heatherpaw nodded and did like she was told.
