Dreaming as a Queen

"We have some forest, just enough to not have to eat only fish." Dewdrop replied.

"Oh," she said. "Um, what kinds of prey is there in the forest?"

"Well, theres voles and squirrels, birds and mice, but usually we hunt near the river where theres water voles and fish." Dewdrop said licking her chops just thinking about it.

Rainfall screwed up her face in obvious disgust.
"Well, we have rabbits and field mice," she told Dewdrop. "And the occasional thrush."

Dewdrop just nodded, looking around foe the first sight of something to catch.

Rainfall heard a rustling in the grass and looked at Dewdrop, asking with her eyes if she could catch it.

"Its a dream, it wouldnt break the code." She whispered so it wouldnt run.

Rainfall nodded, and crept up to the grass. Not being accustomed to hunting in the forest, she didn't lower her ears or tail, and the mouse heard her coming. It scuttled away, leaving her upset.
