Dreaming as a Queen

Rainfall fell asleep, and awoke in Fourtrees. She glanced around, recognizing it as the dream territory. She sighed in relief to get away from her clanmates rushing in and out of the nursery. It felt good to feel the wind, smell the prey, and just relax.

Dewdrop trotted into the clearing. "Greetings Rainfall, how are you?"

Rainfall turned to greet the Riverclan she-cat.
"Hello Dewdrop," she purred, glad to be in touch with another clan.

Dewdrop purred too. "So, how are you doing?" She asked.

Rainfall shrugged and sighed.
"I've been stuck in the nursery for the past two moons," she admitted. "I'm starting to get bored and restless. At least I still have these dreams to escape it all."

Dewdrop nodded. "Well, thats good that you can get away without actually leaving the kit."

Rainfall nodded.
"How is Riverclan?" she asked.

"RiverClan is doing well." Dewdrop said in response.

Rainfall stood and stretched.
"I miss the Gatherings mostly," she mewed. "Will you hunt with me?"

"Sure." Dewdrop said.

"Where should we hunt?" Rainfall wondered aloud, getting to her paws.

"I'd like to stay in the forest where I can catch what I'm hunting." Dewdrop said.

Looking a little uncomfortable, Rainfall nodded.
"Forest it is, then," she said, heading over into the forest area.

Dewdrop followed behind quietly.

"Do you have forest in your territory?" Rainfall asked, glancing up at the trees uneasily.
