Listen, you ungrateful, little-- [closed]

Bramblefrost's scowl was as clear as the blue sky above him. This she-cat was supposed to bring joy and happiness into his life, not embarrassment and disdain. The tom hissed rather loudly, his tail smacking against the grass covered ground. Specklepaw was late for her training and he had no doubts she would come with a plethora of retorts and excuses to spit in her father's face. Why, of all the cats to pick from, did Darkstar throw his ungrateful little daughter at him? Why was he her mentor? She didn't listen to a word the tabby opted to share with her.

"That girl never listens. She's going to get herself killed with that sharp tongue..." he mumbled to himself.

Specklepaw padded up to her father, her tongue licking away the left over blood from the mouse she ate. Purpose made her back straight and her tail sway high in the air, her mission today was to mess with her father in any way possible. He was always so stone-faced, and while he wasn't doing that he was frowning. Specklepaw wanted him to have some fun, she had never seen him really laugh. "What are we going to do today father? Battle training? Hunting? Patrolling?" Sitting herself down next to her father with a fwump. Bringing up a large paw she gave it a few licks before drawing it over her ears, her eyes roving the camp.

The tom stood with a huff as his daughter padded up to him, tail high and mighty even as she plopped beside him with utter disgrace. She was so unceremonious in her actions and speech. Holding back the rising snarl, Bramblefrost headed towards the camp entrance, his tail still lashing as he walked. "Hunting." His voice was curt and harsh. He would teach her patience, manners, and how to mind her tongue if it was the last thing he did.

"Hunting? Anywhere specific?" She asked, shooting to her paws and quickly catching up to her father her eyes bright. "But could we do something else? I don't think I'd be very at hunting, I'm too big and slow. And my joints are always aching.." Specklepaw complained, an audible moan pulling itself from her throat as she plodded heavily after him. Suddenly feeling sluggish from the mouse she had eaten just moments before, she just wanted to sleep and lay in the sun that day. An audible yawn erupted from her mouth, her paws dragged for a few steps before she trotted to catch up again.
